A friend talked me into trying it again. I do not like to borrow equipment from people and I did not want to spend a bunch of money on a set of peddles I might not like. I also didn't want to buy a pair of junk peddles. I searched until I found these peddles. The shape and component material are the same as a couple of high end name brand peddles. I decided to take a chance. I couldn't be happier! I like to adventure race and I do not like wasting time changing shoes. I rode the peddles with my trail runners and they worked great! I rode them on some of the steeper trails in the Helena MT trail system and never rolled a peddle. I cannot believe the confidence I have with these peddles. I was able to corner so much better and faster just being able to drop a foot if I needed to. These peddles are big enough and strong enough to start from a complete stop on a steep and not slip. I highly recommend these peddles! Side note. If you write a review for these peddles do not use the product name.
