How do Dental Delights Dental Treats clean teeth?

Dental Delights have a flexible, chewy texture and were designed with nubs & ridges to scrape plaque & tartar from the surface of the tooth. Plaque & tartar accumulation can lead to gum disease & eventually periodontitis, which can cause tooth loss.

Are the meats responsibly sourced (cage-free, grass-fed, wild-caught, farm-raised)?

Yes. Unlike other dental treats, Stella & Chewy’s Dental Delights are made with real freeze-dried, cage-free chicken. Our treats are crafted with natural and wholesome ingredients, making daily teeth cleaning fun, healthy, and delicious!

Is this treat gluten-free?

Stella & Chewy’s Dental Delights are not formulated with wheat and therefore do not have gluten in the recipe. However, they are produced in our USA kitchen that does have wheat ingredients, so we cannot promise that they are 100% gluten free.

How old does my dog need to be to try Dental Delights? Is it suitable for puppies?

We recommend feeding Dental Delights to dogs older than 6 months and over 5 pounds. This recommendation is out of an abundance of caution since puppies and very small dogs can tend to gulp food or treats which may cause gastro-intestinal upset.

How should the product be stored after opening & how long can the product be fed for once opened?

Each Dental Delights multi-treat pack is resealable. After opening a pack of Dental Delights, it is important to close the seal completely. If properly sealed between each feeding, each multi-pack of Dental Delights may be fed for up to two months.

Lg size - best for small dogs

For a large, this was very small. At best for a Border Collue size dog. It was also broken in 3 pieces so it was useless for my dogs. Went in garbage.

Dogs love them

My dog thought they were great! I thought they’d last longer but they were done chewing them in about 5 minutes. They didn’t hesitate to eat them that’s for sure. Their breath did smell better after.
