Heavy Duty it is not, but does what it's supposed to do in my situation. I don't need it for anything very heavy so works for my needs.

Pics: 1st- Something to consider if you frequent automatic car washes. 2nd- These are much easier to install on the tubes prior to installing the tubes. I wish I had known that. Instructions showed putting them on after. 3rd- Finished product waiting for me to decide whether to put it on my truck rack or the van rack I ordered. Assembly was pretty easy. Having a place to lay out the pieces within easy reach while assembling on a flat work surface made a big difference. Being able to keep the side I was bolting close to the edge made for easy turning of the wrench. Pay attention to weight distribution when loaded like shown in instructions. If you have something small but heavy consider something like a piece of plywood to distribute the weight. I have no doubts this will hold 200 pounds when properly distributed. Great product. Excellent Cargo Basket Carrier for Vehicle Roof Top by Tooenjoy. Assembly took some time but was straightforward with the enclosed instructions. The carrier is large at 59” x 35.4” it will carry quite a bit of cargo. The cargo carrier is strong, sturdy and durable. This is going to be great for road trips and trips to Home Depot.

This thing is made of such cheap materials that I really would not recommend that someone tries to even approach the theoretical 200 lb weight limit. With that said, I am going to install it upside down from the way that the company says to install it and mount lights and other outside accessories on it. The supplied mounting method is not very secured using thumb screws as the way to mount it to a roof bar and as someone who has a lot of experience using 3d printers with the same type of screws to level the beds, this method is just not secure at all. I stripped out two of the screws that assemble the rack in the process of putting it together as well. The only saving grace for this rack system is that it really is relatively cheap to buy, in compared to a decent rack system.

Very tough and heavy duty only took about 30 min to install and comes with everything you need. The black color looks sleek on my car and can carry so mush of my luggage. Very pleased thus far.
