His knees are a mess. He has to wear short boots (taller ones work, too) to support his ankle and knees. He chose these, and finds them to be comfortable yet supportive. He still needs an orthotic insert in his left boot, and these are really good boots. Durable, attractive, easy to put on and take off, and ANY boot that gives him this kind of support is a good value for the money - they're much cheaper and better looking than othotic boots or shoes. I'm glad he found them, and since he's almost constantly moving, some cheaper boots wear out quickly - these appear to be quite durable. The fit is just right, considering the condition of his ankles and knees.
