Very low profile
It is just like the description in that it is very thin, you barely know you are standing on it and even on a flat floor there is little chance of tripping on it. I have a laminate floor with a medium traffic walkway and I needed an extension cord across it and works well. I did have to use double stick tape to get the edges flat. It is not at all cheap. But I could not find any other product that is as flat. I have had it two months. Time will tell how durable it is

Amazing if you work around the polarization problem
The thinness of this cable is unreal. Amazing engineering. As others have stated, the wire is not grounded NOR polarized. I wanted a cable to run across my black hardwood to a central dining table. To work around the polarization problem, I took a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter... then took tin snips to the wide blade of the adapter to make both blades be small and fit into the cable. I had planned to use a dremel but didn't need to. I used a multi-meter to ensure that I plugged the "polarized" side into the same side as the polarized side of the outlet. It may not be the safest option but it's impossible to match the thinness otherwise. Hopefully they'll start producing a US version.

Expensive but exactly what I needed
Bought 2 of these in different lengths to go under a floor rug so we could power 2 electric recliners. Can't even see these under the rug and work perfectly. Glad we bought them even though they are pricey.

it works
thin enough to go under a rug and not leave a bump. Pricey but the best solution I could come up with.

NOT POLARIZED
This is a great idea when you need to run an extension cord under a closed door, but BE WARNED. This is not a polarized plug so you can't use it with anything in the US unless it's an older non-polarized plug that you need to plug into it.

Incredible cable, but the plugs are not polarized
WARNING: the plugs are Japanese; they are not polarized. In the USA you will need an adapter on the female end. Otherwise this cable is amazing. It even runs under extremely tight windows.

Perfect fit.
Very thin. Works well for my application. I am slightly concerned that I would break the wiring if I fold it more than a 45°angle.

The cord portion at the plug end is only about ...
The cord portion at the plug end is only about 4" long (as shown) and it is too short for any outlet, so need to plan on another extension cord to use it. Also I put mine under an Oriental rug with a coffee table in the middle and for some reason, this flat cord keeps moving under it.? Have to pull up the end and straighten weekly. Honestly, having it now, I would not buy it again, we used to just run a regular cord under the rug and didn't have to fuss with it as much.
