A+ energy. Review: Glad I purchased this Lec fridge/freezer - Very happy with it although I wish the fridge section were a little higher. I am 82 and find it somewhat hard to bend down low enough to access the shelves. The freezer section could perhaps have been a little smaller enabling the fridge to be higher. Nevertheless I am very pleased with it as the space available was narrow and this was one of only a few fridges which would have fitted the space. Review: Good Product but small. Can't technology allow for a full size these days.47cm wide to allow for air circulation = tiny fridge - Purchased as new kitchen had no room for my upright fridge/freezer. Was disappointed at the small amount of choice available for these products generally. I am finding it quite difficult to access the fridge area as its so low down, literally at ground level. I have to get on my hands and knees to see into the fridge to get items and that's not very comfortable or bend double. If I was any older I would find this difficult. I'm thinking that this type of product is aimed at small households (probably older persons too) and I can't understand why the freezer isn't on the bottom like the larger fridge/ freezer combos, so that the bit you go to the most - the fridge - is more accessible. MIne is located in a corner so the door only opens 90 degrees so maybe if you have more room its easier to get to, if the door opens further. I don't know if the door does open further so can't say. Also the space in the door for cartons of juice and milk is fractionally too small for the standard cartons making it very difficult to get these in and out, yet there is space above that is wasted which could of been used!!! Poor design! Also the whole item is smaller than a normal fridge. The other white goods I have are standard size and I was surprised this wasn't the same but its not, its thinner at only 47cm when others are 60cm and this is the standard space kitchen fitters leave for white goods. My old upright is 60cms so why isn't this wider? The freezer space is good but the fridge is just too small and can't take much. The internal measurements of the fridge are 40cm wide x 46cm high x 30 cm deep. This 30cm is the depth of the shelves and does not include the space for the door to close with the cartons in the door. Not much bigger than a cool box! I was disappointed but as there was so little choice I had no other option and its better than nothing. Would be much improved if the fridge space was on the top and it had some form of stand or legs if it can't be made any higher. However, I have been pleased with the main function of the fridge which is the temperature. Both freezer and fridge perform well.
