Can these be installed in a shower with a fiberglass enclosure compromising the enclosure

I see no reason they couldn't be installed through the fiberglass into the sold wall behind it especially if you can find the studs. The enclosed wall anchors that come with the grab bar are very good, very study large plastic ones. hope this helps.

How wide is the mounting bracket that screws onto the wall?

I am not home where it was installed it’s about 2 1/2 or 3 inches wide
