Lumene, is a beauty brand inspired by Nordic nature and is named after Lake Lummenne in central Finland. All of their facial products are the result of harvesting the uncultivated plants from their natural or "wild" habitat in Finland since the 1970's, originally founded by a Finnish pharmaceutical company. I luckily discovered Lumen products at my CVS in Scottsdale AZ quite some time ago, until they stopped selling the products and I was lucky to find that Amazon had started selling their amazing products. I will not use any other skincare product. The ingredients are all natural and feel lightweight in addition to nurturing on my dry, sensitive skin, leaving a glow that I have never had with other skin products. The aroma of the products all smell fresh and natural. The products can be used on all skin types. My daughters use all of the products as well.

I had never tried this Lumene product before but I find it quite nice. I have liked many other Lumene products over the years and although this was little over my preferred price range, I decided to try it. It feels very light, not oily which is very nice since I usually go to bed after and would not like to leave any stains on my pillow. I've only used it a week now so I'm not sure how much it will make me glow, but at my age just looking even little more alive is a bonus =)

A really soothing and hydrating overnight cream. Organic ingredients. My skin is sensitive, so this is a happy discovery.

Over and over, I continue to be amazed by the quality of this product and its affordability. My skin feels and looks amazing every day! Every product delivers visible results that are consistent year after year.

This is a very good, under-rated Sleeping Cream. Or as I call it, a sleeping mask that gives a little extra ‘oomph’ of moisture during transitional times of the year. Then again, LUMENE is an excellent skincare line that doesn’t get nearly the press it deserves. I’m guessing it just doesn’t have the advertising budget or friendly beauty editors touting its all-round quality. I love the fact that a lot of major pharmacies stock Lumene products. They are moderately priced. At night, I do a modified (VERY modified) Korean cleansing, treatment and moisturizing regime. Far from the double-digit steps recommended, my regime varies between 7-9 steps. Some would say that’s 7 steps too many but this is what works for me, although I switch it up from time to time. Here’s how I use this Lumene cream:- ~. Double-cleansing always, followed by a 1 minute rinse. ~ Soap and water to follow. I use Sapoderm or Mysore Sandalwood Soap, usually. I like the feel of good, old-fashioned soap! 1 minute rinse with LUKEWARM WATER. NEVER hot water. ~ Biologique Lotion P50 - exfoliant and toner. Expensive as heck but one of the VERY few products that’s worth the hype and $$$$ ~ Essence patted in. Any good Korean one will do. They’re all SK11 dupes at a fraction of the price for the same Blanchett glow. ~ In Winter only, Cosrx Snail Mucus serum to follow. It’s got a goopy, tacky feel but it absorbs quickly. Wait 2 minutes. ~ Cosrx Galactomyces Brightening Serum on top - for pigmentation & old acne marks. ~ A THIN layer of Differin Gel all over, save for eye area. Now available OTC. Thank- you FDA!! ~ Olay OTC Retinol cream after Differin’s been fully absorbed. Usually 5 mins. Eye cream sometimes. Aquaphor for eyes in Winter. ~ Then, depending on the weather, I apply this LUMENE Vitamin C creme on top of it all. The trick is to pat it into the skin FIRMLY. You’re meant to do a whole ‘slapping’ routine but I think not... This cream is lightweight and non-tacky in feel. It absorbs quickly with NO PILLING over the other products. The other Lumene product I’ve tried is the Valo lotion, but that’s another review. IMO, the Lumene line is the Volvo of skincare products - except that it’s from Finland, not Sweden. It comes with a lot of guff and hoohah touting the benefits Finnish flora and herbs and Finnish water but you can politely ignore all that folderol so beloved of cosmetic copywriters. I read the blurbs that come in the package for my own amusement. P.T. Barnum was on the money about the credulity of the general public. This is a worthwhile product to add to your skincare shelf. My favorite night cream

Moisturizes without feeling or looking greasy. Does not rub off onto pillow while sleeping (just don't glob on too much - a thin layer is all you need). Has a nice scent, too. My skin is looking better overall, since I started using this as well as the Lumene Day Cream, for the past couple of years. My skin is sometimes sensitive to skin products, but not for Lumene Day Cream or Night Cream.

recommended as a night cream, it has a rich consistency. The negative part is its scent. If it was unscented I would buy it again.

Etkisini görmek için biraz beklemek gerekiyor sanırım. C vit serumu ile birlikte kullanıyorum. Geceden sürünce sabah cildim dinlenmiş bir şekilde uyanıyorum. Lekeler üstünde henüz bir etkisini görmedim.

I’ve been using this for a year or so. I like its light texture and gentle fragrance and my skin seems to like it. Not cheap but neither is it as expensive as many brands. Feels like a luxury brand.

La marca es finlandesa y es buenísima, yo tengo dermatitis seborreica y este producto me ha eliminado las molestas escamas que se hacían en mi nariz, sin gastar una fortuna en productos dermatológicos y en dermatólogos que te cobran por todo (por experiencia)!! Lo súper recomiendo, la piel queda súper suave al usarla y sientes esa sensación de que esta haciendo efecto. Yo estoy en mis 20’s y la amo!! Gracias lumene. Lo que si me gustaría es que Amazon México tuviera más variedad de productos lumene disponibles (maquillaje y productos en general)
