I’m really impressed with these jumper cables. The 20-foot length makes it so much easier to connect between cars, and the clamps have a strong, secure grip that feels really solid. I got the 6ga 20' set and it is perfect for my needs. Most cables are quite a bit shorter (to avoid transmission loss between batteries) but sometimes you can't get a car right up to the front of the dead car. These are long enough that you can pull a car up behind the dead one and still reach the batteries. I really like the case. I have others where once you use the cables there is no way that they will fit back into the case they came out of. Not these! I've had these out twice now and they easily wind up and fit back in the case with almost zero effort. I also really like the simple diagram (on the permanent tag) to show you which negative cable needs to be grounded vs be on the battery AND they tell you the correct order to hook them up! I always forget and need to look that up. I know you can get away with just connecting them red to red and black to black but it really is much safer to just do it the right way. I chose a relatively light gauge wire at 6 which is good for most cars & light trucks but I will always let the running car charge the dead battery for about a minute before starting the dead car to minimize the load on the cables. If you go with the heavy 0 gauge cables you can just let it rip but of course they will take up much more trunk space. Overall I'm really happy with these and hope I never have to use them again!

Ordered these Jumper Cables for Car Battery - 6 Gauge - 20 FT Booster Cable - Heavy Duty 450 A CCA - Jumper Cables mainly to keep in my truck all the time as I have multiple trenching machines, gas, and all are 12 volt systems. All have batteries and often a battery will get low from being started many times on a rough job, when ground is full of rocks & roots as they will lock up machine & kill the engine. Recently while shopping online for battery terminals for one of my machines, I saw this set of jumper cables that had a good 6 gauge copper coated wiring, and come in 20 ft length. After reading about them, their design, HD clamps, and come with storage bag, I ordered them. These were exactly what I needed for my use. I like the length of 20 ft. Now, when a trencher needs jump started, I can just pull up fairly close with my truck on either side, front or back of machine and the cables reach and have plenty of room to jump start any of them. I like the good thick PVC material and the smooth PVC coated clamps. The clamps are strong and have a strong bite to quickly jump start any machine. Also like the nice storage bag and gloves that came with them. I keep them in the bag and keeps them clean, ready to use at any given moment. Also like that the bags design will slide right up under back seat of my truck. Happy with order

Nilight never ceases to impress! Great flexible and heavy gauge cables for great power transfer. These are copper clad aluminum so they don't weigh as much as they would if solid copper strands. The clamp quality is great with positive and negative markings pressed into the metal aside from the color coding. The wire strands are properly fastened into each clamp and you can see how good the overall gauge quality of these wires are. Comes with a carrying case to keep them clean. Awesome product!

I have had quite a few cables over the years and this is a pretty good set of jumper cables. Good decent quality overall. They actually crimp/solder the cable onto a copper plate inside of the handles instead of just crimping the wire onto the end of the handle so its really only the one side of the clamp that provides the power connectivity. I would prefer both sides being connected but its good gauge wire so will be fine. One of the best things I like is the case, it is the best case I have ever seen for cables. The zipper is a great quality and should hold up well and so is the stitching. It is so much better than any of the plastic cases I have had which always rip and have flimsy zippers. It is cloth like and provides a great bag for your cables and wont crack in the extreme cold. There is plenty of room in the case to hold the jumper cables. The gloves are a nice touch, but I will never use them for jumping. The case makes it easy to store or grab at any time. IMO, at this price point these are a great set of cables!
