I highly recommend others if they have never owned a Vantrue product to really invest in this one!!!
The Vantrue E360 is my 3rd dashcam that ive purchased from Vantrue. Previously I've been using a Vantrue N4 dashcam in all my vehicles. So far I can say that I am very satisfied with the performance of this camera compared to all my previous dashcam. Upon opening I can tell that this camera is built solid with a nice weight to it and the material is very sleek and has a smooth finish. I can really tell that Vantrue did not cut any corners in building this dashcam. Going through the setup upon first setting up the dashcam was very easy and straightforward. Vantrue has always made setting up the camera a very easy and friendly user with no complication at all. The camera is a touch screen, and I can say that this camera touch screen is very sensitive and very accurate to the touch with no issues at all which made first setup very easy and quick. One other thing that I love about this dashcam that the previous Vantrue didn't have was that they added wifi. I feel that this is very important to have this option because it allows you to go into the vantrue app on your phone to view and download any footage (download app). I have not seen any other dashcam videos online that puts out as clear footage as Vantrue dash camera yet. This is one of the main important things we need to have in a dashcam. knowing that we are getting the best footage. What I also love about this new dashcam is how Vantrue incorporated a 360 degree view footage compared to their previous cameras. This was a huge game changer and this is what sold me the most. The camera lens has a fish eye view or Panoramic view which is a game changer. It's crazy not only this is a dashcam, but you can use this as a 360 cam with the mount/tripod ( sold separately) which the battery life can last up to 4 hours! You will not get this from any other 360 action cam on the market. This Dashcam does not come with an SD card or the backup camera (which is not needed since the camera is 360) so you would need to purchase one separately. I do recommend getting and purchasing a hardwiring kit as I've installed one in every car of mine that way It will continue to record when the car is parked just for extra safety precaution.Vantrue has been dominating the dashcam market for years now and I always highly recommend others if they have never owned a Vantrue product to really invest in this one. It is priced very well. The price you are paying for one is well worth every penny. I never had so much confidence until I owned a Vantrue dash cam. It has saved me in multiple accidents from a hit and run and when the other driver was at fault and they were trying to lie saying it was my fault. Driving with a Vantrue Dashcam in your car knowing that you will always be protected.

This 360 panoramic camera shows the full picture while driving
I have used this camera now for over a week. The mounting system was a big improvement over the prior models I've had which used suction cups and would tend to fall off the windshield over time. This one uses a clear film that you apply to your windshield and then another 3M sticky mount which attaches to that. It feels very firm and looks similar to mount kits for sports action cameras. I really like that this camera gives the "full" 360 panoramic camera view of your surroundings. This could prove really helpful in accident investigation or other times of full and complete picture need. The fisheye view does take some getting used to but this is expected given the small and compact size of the whole camera with these 360 panoramic views. The audio recordings sound good quality during playback and the pick your chosen overlays (time/date/speed/gps) are good additions into the embedded videos. The camera pairs nicely with the Vantrue app and that exposes many of its configurability and options. It uses 5Ghz wireless WiFi which translates to faster communications and video/file transfers when you want to offload specific videos from the camera to your phone. It may be quicker to pull the microSD (not included with camera) card out if you want lots of videos pulled over to a computer for review/editing. I haven't had much chance to try out the parking mode and full set of features but this camera appears to have loads of options for monitoring and saving during that mode of operation (e.g. someone bumps your vehicle in a parking lot or does a hit and run).A few things I have noticed is that if you have a dirty windshield it's very noticeable in the videos (so I recommend keeping your view clean if you want better clarity of things). Also, because of the amount of view this camera picks up it could be challenging to see license plates in the videos (I haven't seen if I can do digital zooming with some video processing software to see how readable they are or aren't). If you are seeking license plate identification it may be better to get a second more focused camera with higher resolution ability to see ultrafine details in larger images. Also, I recommend being careful about powering this unit all the time. I used the socket 12VDC plug and it drained my battery over a period of days of non-use where I had to use a jump battery pack to get me going again. Vantrue sells a separate dedicated powering kit which I may buy. That kit contains an auto-low voltage cut-off (to save your vehicle battery for going too low) and I am likely to switch to that over the socket 12VDC power setup I'm currently using. This is mainly desired for the times you wish to record and monitor when your vehicle is in parking mode or powered while not actively driving for more than a day. While this is a pricey camera it provides good benefits over my older generation dash camera setup. This 360 panoramic camera I believe would be really good in Uber/Lift driver scenarios where you want to see passengers inside your vehicle with the outside view of your vehicle together. I think it should meet my needs for a "recording just in case accident event occurs". Overall I am satisfied with this camera as long as it lasts at least a year.
