I’ve been using this AI auto sports action camera for a couple weeks now, and I have to say it’s amazing. I was skeptical at first because there’s a lot of “AI camera” out there, but this one actually works, especially for team sports like soccer and basketball. Setup was really easy. The app guided me through connecting it to my phone (I’ve used it with both iOS and Android—works great on both), and I didn’t have to pay for any subscription just to get the main features. That alone is a big win. The tracking is where this thing shines. I use it mainly for soccer practices and games, and it does an excellent job , and no need to control anything manually. It pans and zooms automatically to follow the players and keeps the ball in frame most of the time. For the most part, it feels like someone’s filming it live for you. The 4K at 60FPS is no joke either. The footage looks super clean, and the motion is smooth, even in lower lighting like during late afternoon games. I’ve tried live streaming to family a couple of times too, and that worked too. No noticeable lag or buffering, and the quality held up even when we didn’t have the world’s best Wi-Fi. Portability is another plus—it’s small, compact, and the build feels durable. I’ve put it in my bag with cleats and shin guards and it’s just fine. Battery life is solid too. I’ve gotten through full games with battery to spare. Overall, if you're looking for an easy, high-quality way to record games, review plays, or just keep memories of your kids’ sports moments, this is absolutely worth it. It feels like one of those products that really works. Highly recommend.

Very easy to setup using a phone and downloading the app. The XbotGo follows motions of the game or a specific player and zooms in and out when necessary, the quality of the camera is excellent, and it’s easy to connect to your phone. It also comes with a charger and remote to help navigate the videos and to pause or record. Very easy to carry in the compartment that it comes in. Great purchase.

I am hoping to upgrade this as I become more familiar with the product. Be prepared to set aside a lot of time to learn the product. The paper manual contains a random mix of information but no instruction on how to operate. The video tutorials can be paused but can only be started from the beginning, which is time consuming when you're playing with something new and want to scroll to the part you are learning. Having repetitive music play on a loop when you are trying to listen to the instructions is not a positive feature. The instructions describe features, not how to use them. For example, the Xbot has a feature to follow a player, called FollowMe. The instructions read "Enter "FollowMe Mode" → Select "Jersey Number" → Enter the athlete's jersey number. Where will you find the "FollowMe Mode"? I can't answer that one yet but will let you know. There are thousands of positive reviews and I hope to join them. So far, this is destined to be returned because if everything is not intuitive, it should be easy to look up in the manual. If you are recording a game and need to learn something, it makes no sense to watch a video tutorial on the same device that is 12 feet in the air recording the game. Update Aug 6 - comments are specifically related to ice hockey It would be great to be able to zoom with the remote or the monitor. Once the camera is 12+ feet in the air, bringing it down to turn off auto zoom and then figure out the zoom I want is a process. The gimble cannot angle down sufficiently to pick up all of the action.Significant amount of action along nearside central boards is missed. I was really surprised that I cannot edit my footage by signing in online. It appears that I have to use the phone I recorded with, which is laborious for an hour plus footage vs accessing it via much bigger screens. UPDATE (Aug 6): you can send yourself a link. Update Aug 7 The live streaming feature on high speed internet does not work. It does a frame every few seconds. It could be a great tool but has logic flaws from a hockey perspective. If your phone (camera) is at the recommended height of 12 feet, you need to use the monitor function to make sure it is set up as you want (such as forcing a manual panning if the tracking loses its way (the camera drag function on the monitor is excellent BTW, is very fast) and linking the devices by hot spot is recommended. If you do this, you can't then use wifi to to live stream. If they fix the streaming issue, I would recommend a mirroring feature (between two Apple products).

Really, really cool. You can track the action in a game and it works pretty darn well (not perfect, of course). But instead of a long shot, I get action shots that I've already used to show my players their good (and bad) plays. And as a coach who gets very little footage of his kids, this is amazing. Only negative so far - the tutorial that shows everytime when you want to record. And the phone holder doesn't work great with the case on my Iphone 13.But small gripes.

Update: After my original review XBotGo reached out to me with sincere concern of my experience and issues with the 2 separate units I tried. Their actions illustrated an organization where customer centricity is important along with the continual development of their projects. For this I’ve increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Not many companies these days show empathy towards their customers anymore. I’m willing to give Xbot another attempt in the future knowing they’ll care and stand by their product. No joke. 1st unit stopped moving towards the left on the second time using it. I really wanted this to work and gave the 2nd unit a try up until the return period expired, but it failed miserably. The only thing both XbotGo units were consistent with, was not tracking the ball and/or player that I designated it to follow. The remote is obviously needed in order to pan it back into the right direction. I have a couple of cheap $20 ones from Amazon that were far less frustrating and definitely more accurate. What a huge let down. The software has a lot of glitches as well. It’s such a great concept but it was as if they tried to push it to market far too early before thorough QA testing to workout all the bugs. The high price was not aligned with its performance whatsoever.

This AI Sports camera is impressive, to say the least. It is lightweight and easily mounts to my tripod! I can take it to the kids' basketball and soccer games and set it up with no problem. The wide-angle lens covers nearly the whole court or field and rotates when needed to follow the action! The FollowMe mode is an added bonus that can focus on a single player throughout the game and seems to keep up pretty good even when moving fast! The battery life is great, and if fully charged, it will last well into the end of one game and to the next until the end of that one too! I have never used a camera like this and am just glad that the setup is very easy and it works awesome! You can even choose highlights to share on social media as well as live stream the games when you choose to do so! This camera has many sports modes to choose from and also offers a large cloud storage option without a subscription fee, so you don't have to take up space on your smartphone. A very impressive camera that gets better each time I use it!

I was looking for a camera to record soccer games and other team sports that could track the ball and this does just that. All the other ones require of subscription which increases the cost considerably. I recorded a couple of games now and it's been working great. I just wish you could control the zoom a bit better so that you can get a little closer in the action. Otherwise I've had no problems and it's working exactly as expected. I bought a 15 ft tripod and that assists in getting great full field coverage of soccer games. It is very reasonably priced as well and you use your own phone as the camera so you can get better quality footage as the cameras get better and still use the same AI tracker. It is very easy to connect and set up with easy to understand options. I did not even have time to read the manual and was able to quickly figure it out on the Fly and just had to adjust the viewing angle to better track the ball and will continue to play with that to see how that affects the footage.

There are a lot of AI cameras out there and it was a bit difficult for me to decide which one to buy but I was very happy that I finally found one. I'm using it to record my son's football sessions and so the camera works really great. The setup was easy and the app that I had to install on my phone works properly and it connects with the actual product easily. What I really like is that I don't have to pay any subscription and the app allows me to record video and also to adjust certain settings. The tracking is one of the most important aspects because now I don't have to manually record everything because this camera does everything for me. The camera pans and also rotates automatically to follow the players and keeps the ball in frame most of the time even when it moves really fast. It records in 4K which means that I can zoom in and still see the details clearly and because this camera supports 60 frames per second, even when the players on the pitch move really fast there is no delay in the recording. It is a small and compact camera with a good build quality and when I have to take it with me I just put it in my bag and I like that it doesn't take too much space. The battery holds for a long time, and managed to record a whole 90 minutes game and there was still enough power to use it without having to charge it. It records properly, tracking feature is great, this is why this camera is suitable for my needs and it saves me a lot of time by not having to stay focused during the games every chord everything myself.

Hasta ahora grababa los partidos ⚽️ con una videocámara de mano y, aunque cumple, se hace pesado: si grabo no veo el partido, y si miro el partido dejo de grabar. Además, mantener el brazo en alto 🤳 durante todo el encuentro acaba cansando. En los pabellones 🏟️ me organizo mejor porque tengo gradas y algo de altura, pero cuando grabo a ras de campo sin ningún ángulo es complicado seguir bien las jugadas ⚽. La grabación pierde perspectiva y no resulta cómoda. Llevaba tiempo mirando este tipo de cámaras automáticas y me decidí por este modelo porque, dentro de lo que estuve viendo, era de los más económicos y fiables 📱. Para el uso que le doy, la calidad de imagen y la resolución cumplen sin problema. Hay otros modelos muy caros y con suscripción mensual 💸. Este modelo no necesita suscripción. Este fin de semana probé a grabar un partido de fútbol ⚽️ cinco en pista cubierta y la configuración fue sencilla. La app me dejó marcar los límites de la pista para que la cámara solo siguiera ese espacio 🥅. No estaba en la mejor posición porque también estaba grabando con la cámara de mano, pero aun así siguió bastante bien el ritmo del juego. En algunas jugadas perdió el balón por culpa de mi mala colocación, pero con el mando 🎮 pude reenfocar rápido y volvió a seguir la acción sin problema. Para ser una situación complicada, respondió bastante bien. Voy a seguir haciendo pruebas en distintos campos y condiciones para tener claro cómo colocarla según cada caso. Cuando tenga controlados varios escenarios, será más fácil saber qué ajustes usar en cada partido 🔧. La calidad final depende bastante del móvil que uses. No es igual grabar con un modelo nuevo que con uno antiguo Yo estoy utilizando uno que tiene la pantalla estropeada, pero la cámara está bien par grabar y utilizo mi móvil principal como segunda pantalla mediante la app, así que en ese sentido es bastante flexible 📲. Tenía muchas ganas de probarla y la verdad es que el resultado me ha dejado muy satisfecho. Siempre hay cosas que se podrían mejorar, pero por el precio, la facilidad de uso y lo que ofrece, creo que he acertado con la compra ⭐. Sé que la voy a usar mucho y ya tengo echado el ojo a la próxima versión, la Falcon, que no necesitará móvil para grabar.
