First delivered with a cracked cup ( grain split). Easy return and received a great product with the replacements. No heat transfer due to holding the cup to keep At the perfect temperature. Nice feel to the cup. Not sold on the taste difference with wood vs glass. But still great gift.

I bought this as a gift for a military Brother. He got them, thinking he ordered something cool but forgot about it. He and his wife had run through a bottle of bourbon before I could get to him and ask if he got the cups. The answer would be a resounding yes. To answer the applicable Amazon questions: He’s currently gone through 4 bottles of bourbon in 4 months with friends. They were durable, leak-proof, lightweight, and made of a high quality material. Since I sent them as a gift, they are perfect. How good I improve upon them? I have a friend here with a laser etcher. Next time, I’ll have them sent to me and have the personalized.

Excellent gift for Bourbon and whiskey, terrific smokey flavor add-on to the drink. Well made and easy to use. They are simple and durability is great haven't had to use any soaps, little warm water and wipe out to clean.

I've bought a few sets if these to spread around to my bourbon aficionado friends I like these, keeps bourbon from warming in my hand. Can't see the bottom, so tend to pour more than I intended... at least that is my excuse

I don't think these drinking cups had any effect on the taste of the bourbon. The interior finish appears to be impermeable, which may be a requirement for sanitary reasons.
