This is a pretty cool little camera! It will allow you to see into places you normally couldn’t see and that’s exactly what i needed it for. I use it for pest control inspections and it works great for seeing in hard to reach places. The camera operates over WiFi with an app you download to your phone. The app works well and I have yet to have any issues with it. The battery in the camera last a long time before needing recharged. The rechargeable battery is a plus as well because nobody wants to replace batteries all the time! This camera is nice because it also has a built in light as well as hooks that you can attach for retrieving items that have fallen into places such as drains! If you need a simple camera for places the human eye cannot see, you can’t go wrong with this camera. The footage is pretty clear for a camera in this price range.

It works great, just as it should. It is easy to setup and use. The wireless aspect is nice. This allows me to rotate my phone to turn the image upright without moving the camera itself. What I don't like about it: -You can't use this to view things far away (super deep in something) because you can't steer the camera. Once it gets far down you'll just be looking at the corner or into a crevice of dust and dirt. You can try to "plan" your course by bending the length of it the way you like, but it is tough. It isn't a problem with quality or anything. It is just inherent in the design. -The camera is setup to view objects very very close. When looking inside of a dark space you wont be able to see anything more than an inch, maybe two inches, away. -I wish the lights were brighter. They seem bright looking at them directly, but they wont light up the entirety of inside of a wall between studs.

I had an issue with my ar10 not cycling. Wasn't sure if it was the buffer, spring, or gas port. Using the mirror attachment I was able to see that I had the gas block and gas port misaligned. Pros: Small profile, I fit this into a 7.62 no problem but I doubt it would fit in a 5.56. Pretty Cheap. Easy to use with smart phone.. Cons: The image quality is poor. The mirror attachment made it worse. Video has a poor frame rate. Overall I'd say this is good enough to get the job done without breaking the bank on something you'll probably rarely use.

This is a very quality built endoscope. I had purchased another brand last year and left it in the pool house where rust overtook the USB connection. I paid a little more for this unit, but is well worth it. I have tried to follow the directions for hooking up to my android phone and was unsuccessful. There are only three reviews on this product and was hoping that more information was available. Found another Nidage listed and read there reviews. Found the information that I needed. Which is as follows. Four easy steps for you to use wifi endoscope: 1. Download and install “HDWiFi” app on your device from Google Play or APP Store. 2. Turn on the WiFi transmitter by Button for 5 seconds until blue light up. 3. Open phone's WLAN or wifi setting, find wireless signal named NIDAGE*****, click it and input password “12345678" to connect. 4. Open the application for “HD WiFi”, the image will be dispalyed automatically. Many of us use blue tooth to play music, We go into sittings and bring up blue tooth and click on the unit that we desire to play. And that is what I did here. Nidage was listed; along with my hearing aids and blue tooth players, clicked on it, added the password 12345678 and picture was on my phone. Update The next time I tried to access Nadage it did not work as one of the other reviewer stated. Directions states that we should turn on Wlan/wifi connections. We don't know what that is! To me it would be better if you said; go to your phone settings, click on wifi connections and Nadiage will be listed with other wifi connections and Bluetooth connections. When I did this it worked very well. The next time I tried to access Nadiage it was not listed. And I had trouble getting it back. I purchased this endoscope from Amazon. Reading reviews one other person had same problem, and was very unhappy. I solved this problem. When I am connected to my internet, Nadiage is not listed. by turning off my internet in my phone, going back to sitting . My phone says the following; "Turn wi-fi on in the upper right corner to see available networks. Doing this Nadiage is listed. Click on it and enter password of 12345678 and camera is available again. When Nadiage is connected you can not have the internet connected on your phone. And that was my problem. I hope this is helpful to you. This is a fine product. New update Company's email is listed, wrote to them with the problem I had and how I solved it. No picture in the app. Wifi connection to device is solid, but it will not function. Unfortunately, I didn't try to use it until after the return window elapsed, so I have to keep a nonfunctional device. Update: After some troubleshooting, I determined that the device works when I turn off the VPN on my phone. However, I'm still having trouble: it will stop working after a minute or so, and I have to restart the app to get the picture back.

UPDATE: DEC 2018. My single complaint (see below) was actually "pilot error". For some reason my phone was set to "not show" apps when installed. I have no idea of how that setting became active, but I changed the setting, and reinstalled the app, and I can see the "HD WIFI" app fine now. INITIAL REVIEW: okay, so I admit that initially I weighed the "good price" vs " not so optimistic expectations". I decided I'd be taking a risk, but that I was willing. WELL, wrong, wrong, and wrong. This actually works, the picture quality is beyond excellent. the wireless video transfer is very reliable. the effective range is from about 2 inches to several feet, yes I can see with good clarity, subject matter that is several feet away. with this item in hand, I have debunked my cautious thoughts. The stiffness is perfect. the length is spot-on. The picture quality is excellent, the wireless video transfer is stable and good. I can stand 15 feet away from the unit and still receive a solid video stream. my one BIG complaint is that the app is not visible on my phone. I do not know how to find it on my android O.S., every time I use it, I go to the app store and click on "installed" and it opens. INTERESTING USE - FOR THE DIY TYPES: I did an a/c repair on one of my vehicles. I decided to use the scope to monitor the a/c clutch activity. so, I placed the scope so that I could see the a/c compressor and clutch, used duct tape to secure the scope in place (safely from rotating parts and hot enigne). I drove around for 30 minutes watching the compressor/clutch cycle on and off. The scope easily survived the hot engine compartment (although not recommended) and the scope battery lasted the entire test. I was amazed to learn that the compressor cycled "on" only for about 30 seconds and "off" about 10 seconds for the low temp and low fan speed settings I had on the ac system - the car was frigid in the 94 deg Texas heat.. . but in my mind, i always imagined the cycling would have been minutes "on" and a minute or so "off"... what a surprise that very few will ever witness (or care to).

I needed to look inside the cylinders of our Continental O-200-A engine cylinders to determine the reason for our oil loss. Mission accomplished for $40. Pros: Easy to set up and operate. Nice picture! Really appears to be HD quality. Good flashlight with 3 brightness levels or off. Easy to charge, the battery lasted as long as the work did. Truly waterproof (I did not get the control box wet.) Cons: My only complaints were in using the 90-degree mirror attachment. It works, but you have to be about two inches away from what you are looking at for it to be in focus (you can be further, but not closer). I had to run the cylinder to bottom-dead-center, attach the mirror, and feed the borescope in so that it would hit the piston and turn 90-degrees and look back at the valves in order to photograph them. That’s the only way I could get far enough away for them to be clear. Also, you can’t really turn on the light with the mirror attachment on. I had to use a separate light source. Not big deals to me though. Also, we had some fun with it. Ran it through our car’s ventilation system to have a look around. We dropped a Nerf gun in our lake and we ran this thing down to the bottom of the lake (I have the 30’ model) and patrolled around in our canoe until we saw it.

Overall this is a great scope for the money. For close-up views in tight spaces, which is what this is really meant for, it is excellent as long as you don't need to fish it a long distance. I purchased it to use for inspecting inside ceilings and behind walls and to help with fishing wires. It's hard to fish a long distance because while it is semi-rigid and 'bendable' it is not stiff enough to go very far without being supported. I taped it to a fish tape to help with this in some instances. Brightness is adequate for close-up confined spaces (again, as intended). A secondary light source is needed for seeing things farther away inside larger spaces (walls and ceilings). The resolution is pretty good and the app and device is very easy to use. Only complaint is that the resolution setting doesn't seem to make any difference but the resolution is good enough regardless. The hard case shown in some of the photos was not included but when I emailed the seller, they were extremely responsive. The case is really too small for the device as you would need to coil it up very tightly to fit it in, which is why they no longer include it. They went ahead and sent me one anyway. Overall, glad I purchased as this is a very handy device to have for all sorts of tasks where it doesn't make sense to spend hundreds on a high end device.

This is surprisingly good for what it is. Wish there was a much shorter cable option and extra cap in case you lose yours (which you will). Easy to use and setup. Buy yourself a cube to charge it which it DOES NOT come with. The little extra attachments are clever and useful. The 90 degree tip really cuts down your sight picture though. You don’t see very much with it on unfortunately. It’s a great device for the price. Can’t go wrong

use this all the time to inspect cylinders through the spark plug hole. hard to see the wall sometimes as the 90 degree mirror attachment isnt great . picture quality is good for price and neck holts the bend pretty well if you set it at an angle
