I had been looking for a great bike for my daughter to start pedaling with that had Proper brakes, no coaster brake and no Guardian nonsense. Thankfully I found this bike. I love how simple they make this. The pedals clip on or off in seconds. The kick stand is well placed and designed for stability. The brakes are color coded which is genius for teaching. I was blown away at how nice this frame is too, coming from having several high end aluminum and carbon bikes, this is amazing for a kids bike. She loves how it is actually lighter(or the same weight) than her smaller balance bike. The only downside was that I had to cut the seat tube down a bit for my daughter to fit it since she is relatively short at 42". But once we took care of that she was off and having fun! Absolutely a fantastic bike to transition to pedaling on.

Nice little bike! Very lightweight, just what my daughter needed. She already learned to ride and needed a bigger size. We didn't want a coaster break, because she never used a bike with one and didnt want it to frustrate her. Easy to put together, mostly already done.

Very lightweight bike with quality components. Easy to set up and adjust for my 3 year old. If you want your child to be the fastest on the block and have a premium bike just buy it already.

Excellent bike, light weight, smooth rides, works great as both a balance bike and bicycle. Comes 90% assembled. One thing I don't like about the bike is the rear wheel screws and housing not designed for training wheels. I bought the training wheel from this same vendor and the training wheel cannot be positioned steadily because of the washer and screw just cannot be tighten enough to prevent slipping, and the Allen screws are starting to deform due to the pressures and frequent I had to tighten those training wheels. Plus the rear wheel stand is also very hard to remove. When i installed the training wheels I'd tried to remove the kick stand screws but those screws (cross) also start to deform! So now the kick stand assembly is still right there, which makes tightening the left side training wheels even harder. The vendor should consider who the users are in their design, it's to be used to by young kids that most likely needs those training wheels. I would give the bike quality and ride a 5 star, but the training wheel accommodations just frustrates me too much.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: See below: Weight: So light, my 5yo loves this bike and it rides like a dream, he is so much more self reliant, and able to pedal up hill on his own. Ease of assembly: The pedals are amazing quick disconnect, all you have to assemble is slide the seat in place, pivot the front wheel, and snap on the pedals. So easy! Ease of riding: My son is so much more confident riding this bike, and I really appreciate it having both a front and rear brake, with a freewheel cassette on the rear wheel. Looks: In a word: amazing. I wish I could get one of these I. A 700c size for me to ride! My son literally goes into the garage EVER CHANCE HE GETS, to just sit on the bike. He is obsessed, and is so much more interested in riding all over the cul-de-sac and along our walking trail.

The quality of the bike is good, but the quality of the customer service could not be worse. If you order this bike, just hope you never need to contact RoyalBaby for support. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone; their support number simply states that no one is available due to high call volume and directs you to email. Once you email them, it typically takes 5 to 10 days just to get a reply. ​We needed to order a replacement part. After three email exchanges that dragged out over nearly a month, we were finally told the part could be replaced but would take 2 to 4 weeks to ship. After another week of delayed communication, we finally placed the order through a very sketchy process. I followed up nearly a month later, only to be told the part had to be manufactured first—it didn't even sound like the order had actually been placed. I asked to speak with a supervisor but have been completely ghosted. The customer experience with this company is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. Not only has my 4-year-old daughter been without a bike for two months, but they already took my money for the replacement part with zero indication that we will actually receive it. If it wasn't for the fact that Amazon delivered the bike, I would think I was dealing with a scam company.

My daughter loves hers. This is even lighter than her old 14" and the weight's made a real difference in her comfort with the bike. Good quality and great price compared to another well-known kids bike marketed for its weight, especially when discounted.
