The main thing I like about this case is the concave section that the shoulder buttons on the back side of this console fit into. Game consoles like the RG40XXV and vertical versions of the RG35XX could get damaged without accommodating for the shoulder button section.I have a RG35XX and wanted something a little oversized so I could fit a 3D printed grip inside with it. With just a RG35XX inside, there's enough room to tuck a 8bitdo Zero controller in there, but I'm only mentioning this to give an idea of the ample space. I would imagine a RG35XX Plus would fit more snugly in this case, but it's still intended for the RG40XXV.The inclusion of a screen protector is really nice for RG40XXV owners, and it was tucked in the zipper pouch inside. I personally really liked the protective divider flap, as it's just another layer of protection. Prevents accessories stored in the zipper pouch from potentially rubbing against the game console itself when all zipped up.

This case works perfect for the Gameboy style retro emulators. The fit is perfect. It keeps your handheld safe while traveling. It’s also good just for storage when not using your console.

I ordered this carrying case for use with my portable CCTV camera test monitor.The carrying case while designed for the RG40XXV game console can work as a great case for other applications. In my situation, I chose to order this for securing my CCTV camera tester and the myriad of support cables and connectors used with this kit.The case is sturdy, has a nice finish, a separate screen protector divider between the bottom and top clam shells of the case and a separate zippered storage case in the top portion of the clam shell. My monitor fit in their perfectly as the reported dimensions were spot on and accurate. The zipper closes nicely and everything seems quite secure. The outside of the case has a nice rubber/plastic finish that while not exactly a "hard shell" supplies plenty of protection and support for the interior items. Additionally, the supplied wrist strap attached to the case with a spring loaded hook will help secure this when carrying or could be used as a hang hook when storing the case.I am happy with this case and I think you will be too.
