The material is very sturdy and the screw fastener makes sure that it will not slip off the leg and potentially cause floor damage. I've had that happen to the felt pads and the hard plastic ones that have adhesive backs, which resulted in a scratched floor. This set of floor protectors is also very affordable. They are the perfect size and my drawers slide effortlessly without squeaky chattering. I couldn't be happier with these gliders even though I'm using them for a different application.
