I’m a big fan of hojicha powder when I don’t feel like having matcha. It can taste a bit powdery, but that’s just the nature of the drink. I follow the instructions on the package and always end up with a delicious drink, whether hot or cold. Very good quality and amount for the price.

Very nice earthy, roasted flavours. Lovely in a latte. The packaging keeps the hojicha powder fresh but also easy to store. Really happy with my purchase.

Purchased this one to get off the macha tren. It's good but also has that slightly burnt flavour with it.

This is a repeat purchase. My daughter likes to tinker around with matcha related drinks dessert and likes the quality which has been maintained over the years

amazing for baking made swiss rolls with these and you can really taste the flavour. quite expensive for amount but would buy again.

After drinking matcha for a long time and often suffering with jitters, I thought I’d try this. It’s lovely. Tastes “toasted”, no sweetener needed. Perfect wintertime drink. Goes great with Plenish Oat Milk.

I bought this as a gift for someone who had wanted to try this type of tea, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. I can’t speak for the taste, myself, but they love the taste.

Schmeckt super als iced latte. Inhalt sollte trotzdem in ein anderes luftdichts Behältnis gefüllt werden um die Qualität beizubehalten.

I haven't tried many hojicha brands yet, but this one is a solid choice. The flavor is smooth and well-balanced, with a hinted roasted aroma that's not too overpowering. I found that cold-whisking it seems to bring out more of its earthy, nutty notes, making it taste richer. It also mixes well without too many clumps.

Before I bought this brand, I reviewed the AprikaLife Hojicha as the best I could find. It was good, but this is much better. I find the taste to be stronger and more caramel-y than the AprikaLife brand.There are mixed reviews on this product, because people seem to not like the taste of Hojicha, which is subjective. Sometimes, I prefer the taste of this to matcha which can be more earthy and grassier.If I had to describe the taste of Hojicha, I would say that it tastes more caramel-like with roasted tones, similar to Thai tea. It doesn’t have the strong grassy notes of Matcha.I use this powder to make a latte every morning. I add 1 ½ tsp of Hojicha powder to whole milk and whisk it on the stove while heating it up, then I add monk fruit sweetener as desired. The mixability is much better than matcha, I find that the powder dissolves very easily, no clumps and barely needs to be whisked.Another reason to consume Hojicha over matcha is that it has an even lower caffeine content, with 5-10g of caffeine per serving as opposed to matcha which is 30-45g of caffeine per serving. I am sensitive to caffeine so I feel like I don’t need to worry with Hojicha since the caffeine content is so low.
