JQDML 8 Inch Stroke Linear Actuator 12V 440 lbs Heavy Duty IP65 Waterproof

I got these for a vault door project, they will be activating 12 3/4' steel rods that lock the door closed. I used two for the sides and two for the top & bottom locks, all operating in parallel. These only have a 4' stroke, but the operation is identical on all units. Love the power and speed of the motors, they operate until the end of the stroke, then will stop. Reverse is the same, I plan to use a remote-control device to operate the movement. I would and will use these motors again on future projects.

WORKED WELL

It’s been about a year when I bought this and it worked great for my boat engine hatch and all the off a sudden it stopped working. Such a bummer

He claims that it is waterproof. It is not. We’ve had rain here for the past few days and I use it to raise my light bar up and down so I can clear my garage. I have a fully built Baja truck and I thought this would be useful, but after a little bit of rain, it does not work since they’re cheap. I will purchase another one but this time I’m gonna coat it in bedliner and see if that works or I might use that rubber spray paint. Edited review) After I left my one star review, the company reached out to me and went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. It had rained a lot where I live and from the product description it says that it is waterproof however it was not after they sent me a new actuator. I took plastic dip spray and coated it 6 times then I put water resistant grease and applied that all around the shaft that moves which is where I think the water intrusion comes from there is no seal right there from what I can tell. I put a thicker amount in that area when I’m not using it as you can see in the video after multiple days of it raining it does work so what I have done to it so far. Has solved my problem no the longevity of it will only be known in time. But so far so good. In closing, it is amazing to see a company go to the lengths that they did for me and help there customers

Great little actuator, put on the under bed storage compartment in our camper. Even with air springs it formerly took 2 people to access storage, one to hold it up and the other to get things out. Now just use a "Rocker Switch" to go up or down. You have to carefully measure to pick the right unit.

I've looked high and low for a suitable power lift for for my 1973 SS16 with a Sears box drag. It isn't perfect, but it does just fine.

It's thin but it works well. I used it to change a hydraulic one.

The actuator works perfectly. Just wish it would go a little faster but it does exactly what I needed it to do without hesitation. Great product and water proof so far
