Why 4&5 star ratings if the sound is broken? How many have reported with sound broken?

We got one and the sound doesn’t work. I care about the sound because I wouldn’t pay this much for something that is broken and I could have paid less for one without sound.

How do I guarantee I will receive the item pictured in the first and second pictures, not one of the others pictured?
