My Garmin sadly broke which meant I was on the hunt for a new smart/sports watch. I begin researching budget friendly watches, and this one came up a lot. For the price, I was very sceptical, especially having built in GPS and the incredible battery life it advertised having. A few weeks in, I am unbelievably impressed! From being able to find your phone, the app being able to find the watch if you loose it, the battery life (not charged it yet!!! and so so so so soooo much more. I actually prefer it to my last watch!

Surprisingly good, great value smart watch/health band thing. It does all the sleep tracking and step counting stuff I need and the phone app is quite "inspired" by the apple version. Great battery life. I charged it up when I got it and have worn it ever since. I just checked and it says "49% battery, last charged 11 days ago". So that gives you some idea.

This fitness tracker is a Which? Best Buy, and its review provides full details of the reasons (Fitness Trackers category). It has many useful features and is simple to use once you become accustomed to it. However, please be aware that measurements are metric and cannot be changed to imperial. So, if you think in pounds and miles, please bear this in mind. There are also some negatives. The charging lead is short, and being a special type of lead, you cannot purchase a longer replacement. There is no charging plug, so you need to buy a USB-A to wall socket converter. USB-A is the type commonly found on computers, allowing you to use a computer as an alternative charging source. The strap is not fitted, and there are no fitting instructions. To attach both parts of the strap, align the metal clip on the strap with the hole on the device, and then push gently until you hear a click. Remember to pull gently on the strap afterwards to ensure a secure fitting. The booklet accompanying the device features tiny print, and the setup instructions are unclear. Xiaomi does not provide operating instructions, so you need to search for them on another site. The step counter is inaccurate; it does not record all steps taken at home. The display is tiny, making it difficult for some people to read. The multiple statistics reset to zero every day at midnight, so please bear this in mind if this might affect you.

Far better than I thought it would be! Battery life is weeks and it records your progress if you start an activity manually (it doesn't detect if you are walking or cycling automatically) and shows it on a map with information about recovery time etc. If you use walking poles or sticks or push a trolley in the supermarket it will not count all your steps, probably quite reasonably! So 5*!

Bought as a Which? recommended buy in May 2025 and I was sick of Fitbit's unreliability. At first it was great, although I was surprised at how few steps it registered (thought it was me being lazy buy others have also commented on low step count). Loved the long battery life but now in December 2025 it doesn't want to sync to the app and the screen can only be read in the pitch black as otherwise it is too dim and it doesn't 'wake' when you tap the screen. Such a pity because the price was very reasonable. Also customer service only Monday to Friday 9 to 6 so no good if you want support at the weekend

This is a remarkable watch. I bought it two weeks ago, charged it and have 69% battery charge left. I have downloaded several watch faces from the Mi app and it doesn't seem to run the battery down. I have replaced the silicon strap with a nice stretchy nylon one and it's comfortable and rather stylish.

I upgraded from a redmi watch 5 lite. It feels extremely premium on the wrist and a very responsive touch screen at a perfect size. The colours are very bright and vibrant. The only thing that lets the watch down for me is the fact it has no NFC. Other than that it's great and tracks my heart rate even through my tattoos. Very happy with this watch 👍🏻 EDIT: it's been around two weeks now and the HR sensor does stop working during workouts and have to move the watch around to get it to pick up my HR. Also got to use the GNSS (GPS) and it was miles out. We walked around an open park in the town. We walked around 0.7km and the watch said we did 12 metres 🫩 will probably return this for a better model.

As I am now in my 60s I wanted something to track and monitor the basics of sleep, heart rate and fitness in place of the more detailed analysis provide by my previous Suunto and Polar watches and apps. This neat device, recommended by Which, looked ideal and so it has proved. It’s anttractive, light weight on the wrist and easy to use. The sleep analysis reflects my experience and has helped me improve my sleep both by the understanding and the suggestions from the App. Although it was not billed as a smart watch it is. The associated App. provides plenty of information and tracking. It syncs well (the only time it has shown any challenges with the sync is if my phone is playing music on another Bluetooth device). There is a wide selection of faces available and finding out your sleep animal every seven days adds to the fun. For £50 what is there not to like. I spent an extra £10 to get the metal magnetic strap which I prefer to the plastic/nylon versions.

The functionality is great. The build quality is good and battery life is almost 3 weeks. This is what everybody needs.

I am using my fitness smart watch from Feb 2025. The battery levels are excellent. It has many features with pedometer, sleep tracker. It tracks all the activities including walking cycling badminton. I use it on daily basis. Best buy if you do sports and fitness everyday.
