You get a lot for your money with this monitor. Just make sure to check the exact model number you’re buying because one letter changed could mean you get sound or don’t get sound. Or USB power delivery or not. High refresh rate, that even if you’re not a gamer, you don’t know that you need until you use it. There’s no going back. HDR it’s not bad for a monitor of this price. But it does dramatically increase the power usage, so you might want to turn that off. Has a USB hub. Very nice. And for such a cheap monitor, the stand is height adjustable and can be removed so that the monitor can be-attached to a standard vesa mount. This is not an IPS panel, so colours are bright and possibly slightly oversaturated. If you need a true colour accuracy you need to be spending more for an IPS panel, and then you probably aren’t gonna get the refresh rate to be as high as it is on this one. Unless you’re spending lots. In short, absolute bargain, ultrawide and high refresh rate at this price, maybe I should’ve bought two

Brilliant monitor. Makes Ps5,Xbox and Switch games look better, but cannot use the full use of all the screen. I use it on my gaming pc, only a £1500 one, but it makes so much diffrence having wide screen. Great shadow and colour control. Had to use a DP cable rather than HDMI to get higher FPS whilst wide screen. I cant access the separate colour controls for some reason, so it can make colours a bit too red if I push up the main colour control. Shadow control is great. Have to say im impressed with it, for £289 its a bargain.

Huge monitor, plugged it in to my laptop and it works great. My laptop has an OLED screen, and this monitor is almost as good. The software you can download, means you can change the brightness, contrast and other settings from the screen. You don't have to fiddle around with the awkward buttons. Very happy with this.

Have been using the monitor over the past 9 days consistently. I bought a "like new" one on a reduced price, which arrived a few days later with a minorly damaged box, but concerningly the actual monitor was LOOSE in the box and not put into the foam insert. Very luckily, no damage to the monitor, only a plastic part of the stand popped out which was sorted. Awkward weight did mean adjusting my setup to fit the AOC was a bit more difficult than anticipated, and a missing DP cable meant I had to use a short existing one (Amazon provided a generous refund for this, however). After some time, I have found the high refresh rate to be brilliant and has smoothed out my PC usage. I haven't noticed any ghosting or flickering, even when gaming or aggressively scrolling. Tilt and height adjustment took a while to get right, but even when it was slightly out, I haven't noticed poor viewing angles. USB hub on the back is awesome to have, but a USB-C port should be entirely expected nowadays, even at this price - it is more than enough to have my keyboard, mouse, DAC and lightbar, though. Pretty easy to swap inputs, but I do wish I could eliminate unused ports from the menu; and the monitor menu offers a number of options, but I am still experimenting, I have reached a colour profile I am happy with for now. Plugging a PS5 into the monitor required exceedingly little effort and the console immediately detected a higher quality monitor than previous, offering some adjustments. It took me a few days to get used to the view, but I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the SKATE Beta, BO3 & Cold War Zombies, Ready Or Not, Sifu, Minecraft, even Balatro. The slight stretch can be reduced by using a smaller safezone in the console, but I would try it for a while first. The monitor also has Picture-In-Picture and Picture-By-Picture, but using PIP, you can only have the DP input (my laptop in my case) as the large screen, but PBP works fine. Brightness is very bright VS my old monitor, and I haven't had a huge issue with the very slight haloing around very dim lighting in dark games, it's not noticeable after the first usage. I think, overall, it is a fantastic monitor for someone like me who does casual gaming, watches videos, and does some amount of productivity work with multitasking windows, using LibreOffice, doing spreadsheets, ETC, or for someone who wants an ultrawide on a mild budget. But anyone who can afford it and want the best ultrawide, this isn't it. But is it f'ing great? Definitely. Solid 7.5 outta 10

There’s no point spending thousands on a more expensive monitor when you can buy this. Great value for money. I’ll strongly recommend. PS: it doubles as a gaming monitor and work station for me.

Pour mon usage principalement bureautique et quelques jeux, la taille est impeccable pour mon bureau. A remplacé deux écrans côte à côte, la taille en pixels permet de regarder un film en 16:9 ce qui n'était pas facile avec deux écrans. Idem pour les tableurs excel 😊. Le fait d'avoir un hub USB 3.0 est aussi très pratique. Seul incovénient, mais comme sur tous les écrans, les boutons de réglages sont difficiles à utiliser, savoir lequel sélectionne, lequel change, bref pas facile. Ca ne change pas la note aussi très bon point, le rapport qualité/prix 👍🏼

Non è un semplice 34 pollici grande, ma un ultrawide curvo 21:9 pensato per giocare seriamente senza arrivare a cifre fuori controllo. Lo sto usando con una Nvidia 5070 e, per il tipo di utilizzo che ne faccio, mi sta dando davvero solo grandi soddisfazioni. È un monitor che riesce a mettere insieme dimensione, risoluzione, fluidità e immersione in modo molto convincente. La prima cosa che colpisce è il formato. Passare a un 34 pollici ultrawide con risoluzione 3440 x 1440 cambia proprio il modo di stare davanti al PC. Nei giochi compatibili il campo visivo più ampio si sente subito, soprattutto nei titoli di guida, negli FPS più cinematografici, negli open world e in tutti quei giochi dove l’immersione conta quanto la pura velocità. La curvatura 1500R aiuta, perché avvolge senza risultare estrema. Con la mia 5070 il monitor ha davvero senso. La risoluzione ultrawide è più impegnativa del classico 2560 x 1440, ma non arriva al peso del 4K, quindi permette di sfruttare bene la scheda video mantenendo un’immagine molto definita e una fluidità alta. I 180 Hz sono uno dei motivi principali per cui l’ho trovato così riuscito. La differenza si percepisce nei movimenti rapidi, nello scorrimento, nei giochi veloci e anche semplicemente nella reattività generale del desktop. Chi viene da un 60 Hz o anche da un 100 Hz si accorge subito del salto. Il monitor risponde bene, dà una sensazione di immediatezza e rende tutto più piacevole. Il pannello è Fast VA e a me piace. Ha molto contrasto e i neri hanno più corpo rispetto a tanti pannelli più slavati e nelle scene scure l’immagine resta piacevole. Su un ultrawide da gaming questa cosa conta molto, perché spesso ci si trova davanti a giochi con ambientazioni buie, interni, ombre, notturne o scene molto cariche. Non è un OLED e non va trattato come tale, ma per il prezzo e per la categoria la resa è davvero solida. I colori sono belli, l’immagine ha presenza e il pannello opaco aiuta a usarlo senza impazzire con i riflessi. Anche come nitidezza mi ha soddisfatto davvero parecchio, secondo me, uno dei punti più equilibrati per giocare e usare il PC tutti i giorni. Il testo resta leggibile, lo spazio di lavoro è enorme e nei giochi il dettaglio è alto senza rendere tutto troppo pesante da gestire. Lo schermo largo permette di tenere due finestre comode una accanto all’altra, e quando non si gioca torna utile più di quanto si pensi. La parte estetica è molto AOC Gaming: nero, dettagli rossi, base importante, look aggressivo ma non pacchiano. Mi piace perché comunica subito che è un monitor da gaming, però non arriva a essere eccessivo sulla scrivania. Il retro è curato, con linee rosse e una struttura abbastanza scenica, mentre davanti resta pulito. La cornice è sottile e il monitor fa una gran bella figura, soprattutto considerando la dimensione. Va solo considerato l’ingombro: un 34 pollici ultrawide non scompare sulla scrivania. Serve spazio in larghezza e la base occupa la sua parte, anche se è stabile e coerente con il peso del monitor. Ho apprezzato molto la regolazione in altezza: 130 mm di escursione fanno comodo perché permettono di sistemarlo bene senza dover subito ricorrere a supporti esterni o bracci VESA. Si riesce a trovare una posizione corretta facilmente. Il supporto è robusto, non dà l’idea di un accessorio economico, e questo su un ultrawide è davvero importante. La presenza di HDMI, DisplayPort, uscita audio e hub USB rende il monitor pratico anche come centro della postazione. L’hub USB è una di quelle cose che magari non fanno scegliere da sole un monitor, ma nell’uso quotidiano tornano comode, soprattutto se si hanno periferiche, dongle o accessori da collegare senza andare ogni volta dietro al PC. Il DisplayPort è la connessione più sensata per sfruttarlo al meglio con una scheda video come la 5070, specialmente se si vuole arrivare alla frequenza più alta alla risoluzione nativa. Il FreeSync Premium è utile anche con configurazioni Nvidia compatibili, perché aiuta a mantenere una resa più fluida quando il frame rate cambia. Nei giochi moderni, soprattutto in ultrawide, non si è sempre inchiodati allo stesso numero di FPS, quindi avere una sincronizzazione adattiva ti salva. La sensazione è quella di un’immagine più continua, meno spezzata, più piacevole. È proprio il tipo di monitor che si apprezza usando titoli diversi, non solo facendo partire un gioco per cinque minuti. L’HDR400 c’è e va considerato per quello che è. Non lo prenderei come motivo principale per scegliere questo monitor, perché chi cerca un HDR veramente spettacolare deve guardare ad altre categorie e ad altri prezzi. Però aggiunge qualcosa in certi contenuti e contribuisce a dare un’immagine piacevole quando il gioco o il video sono gestiti bene. Non è il punto forte assoluto, ma non lo vedo nemmeno come un difetto. È una funzione in più dentro un pacchetto che convince soprattutto per formato, fluidità e rapporto tra prestazioni e costo. Personalmente non amo perdere troppo tempo nei menu dei monitor, però avere impostazioni dedicate per FPS, corse, RTS e profili personalizzabili è comodo. Il monitor permette di adattare abbastanza bene l’immagine al tipo di gioco o al gusto personale. Chi vuole metterci mano, c’è spazio per regolarlo; per chi invece vuole usarlo subito, si riesce comunque a trovare una resa convincente senza complicarsi troppo la vita. Il compromesso principale, a mio modo di vedere, riguarda proprio la natura del prodotto: è un 34 pollici ultrawide curvo VA, quindi bisogna volerlo davvero. Non è la scelta giusta per chi vuole un monitor piccolo, leggero, minimalista o semplicissimo da piazzare ovunque. Serve una scrivania adeguata, serve una scheda video all’altezza e bisogna avere giochi o utilizzi che valorizzino il 21:9. Inoltre, chi cerca angoli di visione da IPS puro o neri da OLED deve guardare altrove. Però sono compromessi normali per questa categoria e, considerando quanto offre, non mi hanno pesato. Spesso nei monitor gaming si trova un punto forte molto evidente e poi qualche rinuncia pesante: con questo tutto l’insieme funziona bene. È grande, è fluido, ha una bella definizione, ha una curvatura piacevole, ha un pannello con buon contrasto, è regolabile, ha un hub USB e con una scheda come la Nvidia 5070 riesce a esprimersi davvero bene. Sono pienamente soddisfatto. Lo consiglio soprattutto a chi gioca su PC e vuole fare un salto evidente rispetto a un monitor tradizionale, senza per forza andare su OLED o su modelli molto più costosi. È un monitor che dà soddisfazione appena lo si accende e che continua a convincere nell’uso quotidiano. Con la 5070 si abbina benissimo, perché permette di godersi davvero risoluzione e frequenza alta senza sentirsi sacrificati. Non ho trovato difetti concreti che mi facciano pentire della scelta: per me è un prodotto eccellente, completo e davvero centrato per chi cerca un ultrawide gaming serio a un prezzo ancora ragionevole.
