Awesome boot!
So I work in law-enforcement and my buddy had a pair of these and since I have wide feet, I thought I’d give them a try. I bought my first parent tan being on the SWAT team and then I bought one for patrol in black and I have to say they are very comfortable And very durable. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that you do have to change the insoles because There isn’t much cushion in the original soul, but a minor fix. Overall, great boot

Two week review
So far these are great boots. Someone mentioned no support and flat. Yeah, because they’re based off low/zero drop style shoes meant for the gym. I’ve worn Vans and zero drop Reeboks and others on duty for years and that’s my preference. The wide toe box is how shoes are supposed to be. Not all cramped up. I’ve owned and worn various Viktos shoes and love my 1911’s but these are the first boot I bought for duty and couldn’t be happier. Wouldn’t mind seeing a 10” version just to keep my pants from getting stuck on the tongue and pull tab but that’s a preference.Longevity is unknown as of right now, they seem as quality as Viktos is known for. I plan on getting their WP boots too similar to these.I ended up returning to Amazon and ordering direct as Viktos offers an insane Le/mil discount now.

Supportive and provide good traction
Bought these as a middle ground between my old Viktos sneakers and full size Danners. First impression was that they looked good and had great traction, from dirt to concrete to tile. After a few days of wear I began developing friction wounds on the top of my feet where your shin slopes into the top of your foot. Skipping the last row of eyelets/loops relieved the pressure. The only issues I have are twofold. One, like all of their footwear the laces are way too long, especially after having to skip loops/eyelets you have a large amount of lace left over. Secondly, they seem to possibly be too wide. I haven’t gotten blisters from the hikes I’ve worn them on, but after tightening the laces you can see the top edges of the shoe wrinkle. I did not buy a wide size(I don’t think Viktos offers wide sizes) and normally fit a standard shoe well. Overall, the shoes were a good choice and have held up well over 20+ miles of hiking over about 2 months.

Comfortability
Shoe is very uncomfortable. No arch support at all. Flat footed boot and does not fit snug at all. Your foot feels very loose inside of the boot. You walk and lift your foot and you feel like your foot is slipping out. Feet hurt like no other after a long day in these boots.

Great shoes. Insoles are slippery, price is a bit high
Huge Viktos fan, would have way more of their stuff except ... it's just so pricey. I train in these 4-5x a week, functional fitness and at the range. Only criticisms of these shoes are 1.) the included insoles are _really_ slippery to the point of being a major issue - giving me blisters on every contact point every time I wore them. Took em out, replaced with foamy Dr Schools and we're GTG, but really there's no reason for these to have such a slippery contact surface; and 2.) the toe-box is supposed to be roomy, but these are REALLY tall and spacious ... could easily be a little more tailored at the toe box without sacrificing anything.
