FANTASTIC!
This two-pack of 4-lb blocks is the best deal available for this species. The larger substrate holds enough nutrients to support a remarkable harvest, so the results justify the effort. Plan for proper temperature and humidity—around 70°F and 90% relative humidity—and choose the right season or indoor spot to maintain those conditions. Even as a beginner, I saw first flushes of over half a pound after trimming them to a market-ready appearance. The flavor is outstanding, and the mushrooms shine in sauces, sandwiches, or side dishes. Let the bags rest a couple of days before starting, and treat them like the living organisms they are. You’ll be glad you did.

Easy to grow mushroom kit.
Worked great. Grew beautiful mushrooms. I hadn’t eaten Lions Mane mushroom before so I wanted to try it. I love mushrooms but not this one. Otherwise I grew them within a week and cooked them and we ate them. I’ll have to try some I’m familiar with next time.

Delivered in good shape, hydrated well and ready to grow
amazon.com Feb 28, 2026 I received the lion's mane grow kit on Feb. 19 in good condition. I cut the plastic open in the usual X shape and put a hunidifier by the kit in the kitchen. It's now Feb. 28 and I just collected the large lion's mane off the grow kit. Very easy a nice looking fluffy mushroom! The size is about 8 inches high by by 6 inches wide and 5 inches thick. Pictures show day 3 and day 10, when harvested.

Won't grow, company is no help, waste of time and money
I started using it the moment I received it. Ive used similar kits from other brands in the past with a lot of success. This one never even started to grow. I followed the instructions exactly and it just got slimy and weird. I reached out to the company but they didnt seem to care and said to wait a few weeks. I also noticed the kit I received was manufactured in 2019. Seems obvious why it never started to grow. I would not recommend buying from this company again or this kit.

Super easy grow your own mushrooms
This kit was exactly as described and worked perfectly- very easy to grow Lion’s Mane mushrooms. You literally spray twice a day with tap water… Follow the directions and you’ll get mushrooms to eat within 10-12 days. You can even reuse and continue growing mushrooms using the same kit after your first harvest. Highly recommend this!! I included pictures of the box throughout the 2 weeks it took to grow them.

Well it worked. But not the way the box said to do it
Ok so first off. I was missing the squirt bottle. No dig deal. I had some laying around. Second the brick came in a few pieces. Not the biggest deal. Understand that transit might of been a factor. But I feel the mycelium was rather weak from what I have seen before which would make breakage easier. So now the grow. I tried the way on the box. I live hawaii. Good humidity. But did it as instructed. For 3 days. Nothing happen. The block looked more and more dry. So of course there was something going wrong. But I grow mushrooms myself and I have a automated fruiting chamber. I put it in there and within 3 days. The mycelium was thriving and it looked so good. 2 days later it finally pinned. And now I'm almost a week in and it's definitely growing. I ended up taking completely out the bag. Took the broken pieces and spawned them to new substrate that I made. And will see how that goes but I can't hate it's definitely growing. But if I was someone who had little to no knowledge then it could of failed or maybe I didn't wait as long. But seriously the mycelium looked like it was dieing.
