Simple, comprehensive, fast.
Festa online (cloud) management makes setup easy. I had to photo scan in the serial # for the cloud to find the unit, but it was easy after that. I don't have a complete Festa system. But with the compatible POE switches, the AP's can be powered by the data cable.

Not easy for my modem and /or router to find
This is an Access Point. That is to say that it sits between your modem and your router. Rather it connects to your router. It's really a very nice package, an awesome package of hardware pieces that collectively form a more expensive version of what a more expensive, all in one unit rather than paying much more for the same thing in the pricier options that's very secure, so secure even I can't get it to be visible to my router. This is by no means a plug and play, slam dunk, five minutes your done by any stretch though you might not be connected to your modem and not even know it because your modem is still broadcasting radio signals so you are in no way any better off by having a secure router replacement that's on the F.B.I. hit list of intrusion vulnerable devices LIKE the old router I replaced because of its vulnerability to intrusion BUT that's if you are connected this to say the TP-LINK Omeda 605 which looks like and in fact is an incredible secure home network IF you can get your modem and router to find them in order to adopt your devices. If you want this as an inexpensive solution for a secure home network you won't have to worry much about getting hacked, you have the right idea. If you have limited experience with connectivity and all or anything internet this might not be for you. I have over twenty years experience off and on with computer networking and what is required to get this up and running is not necessarily for the uninitiated. If you are up for a challenge, this is your big chance with a sweet pay off if you are successful in your efforts because it's a great solution paired with the pretty inexpensive TP-LINK 605 router. But you aren't going to hook it up using the instruction manual. You will come out of it with way more knowledge than you began with getting it up and running. This could vary with what your personal needs are for a secure home network. The biggest issue I am having is getting my modem to see this in order to adopt my smart plugs, wireless smart cams, and other devices that are dependent on your WiFi. I know I can do this personally but right now I am heading into day four without Alexa to turn on a light for me when I enter a dark room with my hands full. I want to rate this higher than two Stars once I am connected, but it hasn't happened yet. I came very close earlier in the day just today. You might need three apps and they will work together depending on your situation: age of your smart plugs and cameras for example. Specifically Omeda, Festa and Kasa all by TP-LINK. GOOD LUCK. I will eventually update this review. Bottom line though in the meantime, uhhh I don't know about this one.

Great design and speed butโฆ
Looks nice but maybe hard to setup for regular people, itโs fast but seems to loose connection sometimes I hope a firmware update would fix. I really like the fact that you can easily attach to the wall mount.
