The Best Portable 3K OLED
Great monitor overall—excellent colors, perfect blacks, and a clean picture. The 2880x1800 resolution is a bit odd though. On weaker machines, it doesn’t scale cleanly down to 1200p like 4K does to 1080p. If you need to ease the load, keep it at native resolution and use DLSS or FSR (Performance mode) instead of lowering the resolution. Running it at 1200p still looks fine, just a little soft. For regular desktop use or word processing, it works great. Thanks to OLED's per-pixel lighting, it's nice to drop the brightness or use a warmer background color at night and not have a glaring backlight keeping you up. The brightness indoors goes beyond what I'd suspect most people would need. I keep my screen between 30–50% brightness; 100% exceeds my needs. I’m running mine through my laptop’s DP-Alt USB-C port. It pulls more power than a 1080p IPS at higher brightness, but nothing extreme. It comes with an adapter and cables, though I use a 45W USB-C charger I already had with no issues. Just check your port speeds; mine only does 10Gbps, which limits it to 2880x1800 @ 100Hz instead of the rated 120Hz. That’s a laptop bottleneck, not the monitor’s fault. Compared to a 144Hz 1080p IPS, the trade-off is worth it. Picture quality and contrast crush it. I’d still prefer 16:9 over 16:10, but this one’s been great otherwise. The speakers are better than most in this range, the design feels more solid, and the glossy screen is easy to clean. It’s reasonably light, durable, and well-priced for what you get.

Impressive for $40.00. You need not spend more as this is awesome
Its kinda crazy you can get this for 40 bucks. So far so good. Came with a mini hdmi to hdmi and usbc power cable. Connects right away when plugged in. Is bright enough to match my other monitors. I use this vertically next to my top and bottom setup. Im super happy with it. Just gotta get a small tablet mount to put it on. If it lasts its a crazy good deal. Thin and versatile. So-so stability with included kickstand mount that pops out the back. Works on my desktop PC and iPad. Vertical mounting helps with productivity. I don't game so can't really say if latency is an issue. Great for word and excel documents. Glad I didn't pay more for a different one as this is exactly what I was looking for. The screen is SUPER thin. Didn't plan on keeping it vertical but its great. Will report back on longevity. I was worried I should have ordered an 18.5" but its not worth paying double for a few inches. If your on the fence you should be. This is totally worth the money. I almost want to get another one. Not because I need it though.

A SOLID product for price
Some of the other reviews had me on the fence, but now that I have been using this over the past week, it gets a 5+ from me. For under $70 (with tax), I wasn't sure what I'd get, but I wasn't expecting anything this decent. Even if I could afford to spend more, I wouldn't and there is no need. I use it for studying; I have my main screen for interacting with, and the portable for viewing other documents or pages. It's got everything I needed for a super-quick plug, play, and go. The display is really good. I think we all are used the shiny screens of our expensive phones & laptops - or at least I am. The Newsoul monitor is not shiny, but the display is clean and very clear. I actually like the effect on my eyes. The whole thing is very lightweight. I had a previous portable that was heavier and had complicated connection setups. I can slide this thing into my large purse or workbag and never even feel the weight. I'm sharing pics of what the screen looks like with text on it and what it looks like with a webpage of color squares. You can see how clear it all it. The pic with Other than thinking I'm going to eventually need to get a protective cover, the only other things I am not crazy about: 1. The controls (volume, brightness, etc.) are hidden under the right-side edge of the monitor. I might get used to it, but for now, I have to look to see which control I am pushing. 2. The ports are placed the same way on the left side. It's not so much that these are hidden but the plugs in the slot will be in the way of the stand closing. Neither of these are a big deal but just kind of annoying. But again, for the display quality at this price, I'm good.

BUYER BEWARE.
UPDATE: after owning this monitor, I'm also experiencing the black flicker every few minutes. I've tried multiple cables (including the ones that came with it) as well as multiple power adapters (including the one that came with it). It changed nothing and my screen is still flickering. DO NOT BUY Honestly fantastic quality of a portable display. The picture looks fantastic, the resolution is great, and the refresh rate is perfect for gaming. I'm using it as a portable display for my Legion Go and it looks awesome. The power draw is a bit big, but you CAN drive it with a portable handheld, you just need to drop the brightness down a bit (I set mine to 70%). If you want it max brightness, you'll have to plug it into the wall most likely. I don't mind running it a little less than max if that means I can use it with just one cable out of the handheld to the display. I'm not sure about durability, as the display is glass, and the quality of glass isn't stated. I'm sure if you dropped it or hit the front of it, it would shatter so make sure you have some kind of protection for it during travel, and be a bit careful lugging it around. The HDR is also hit or miss, I just leave it off as it seems to produce an extremely oversaturated result, you can find video examples online. For the price it's worth it and actually mind boggling to get a portable 120hz OLED for around $250 bucks.

A fairly decent panel with one caveat
First of all, for the price I paid for it, $250, it's pretty damn great. Its a tightly packed OLED, meaning high PPI, with a 120hz refresh rate, mounting capability, and 8 bit color depth + FRC (FRC is important, since 8 bits by itself tends to produce rough banding many times in games). With that said, there is one caveat that comes with the monitor itself. For whatever reason i'm not sure of, it randomly starts to turn on and off by itself. Its not coming on all the time, but, when it does its fairly annoying to deal with. Usually I just turn it off manually and then that fixes it. Other than that, the panel itself is fairly great for the money.

Bright and beautiful OLED without burn-in!
Excellent OLED monitor for the price and portability. It can be used with a single Thunderbolt (or other DP Alt mode USB-C) cable with a brightness cap at 15%, but I have rarely had to go above that for my needs since the display is already quite bright. An AC power adapter is included if you prefer the power stability or have to use HDMI instead. It's not mentioned anywhere in the product description for some reason, but the monitor also is a touchscreen. From what I've gathered, I think that these are touch-capable Samsung OLED panels, making them very high quality. I was able to achieve the advertised 2880x1800 at 120 Hz across Windows, Mac, Android (Samsung DeX) and Linux. By far, Mac required the most tinkering for comfortable use. Note that this IS a 16:10 display rather than a 16:9 display, so some fullscreen media will not use up all of the vertical real estate on the screen. Still, everything looks great on this monitor, from watching TV to reading to playing video games. Originally, I was hesitant to get an OLED monitor because of the fear of burn-in, but it has been about 8 months and I have yet to experience even a hint of burn-in. As the description states, it is indeed VESA compatible--I have it mounted to a monitor arm--though you will have to get smaller screws than usual (M4 x 4mm). Still, the included folio case isn't bad, though the nature of a folio case limits the angle at which you can tilt it. NEWSOUL customer support was extremely helpful and responsive when I needed a replacement AC power adapter due to a coil whine I was hearing when the monitor was turned off, so I highly recommend reaching out to them if you have issues with your monitor or any of the accessories.

Shart, Bright and Vibrant Portable monitor.
This Newsoul portable monitor has been a great addition to my travel and home setup. The monitor is surprisingly versatile working well for both work and entertainment, whether I’m editing documents, browsing the web, or streaming videos. The 4K UHD resolution is impressive — sharp, bright, and vibrant, easily rivaling much larger desktop displays. Text and images look crisp which was my biggest complaint with my 1080p portable monitor apart from the brightness which on this monitor is much better (see photos with this monitor on the right compared to my 1080p monitor both at max brightness). The foldable magnetic case is also pretty good. The magnets are strong and hold the monitor securely in place, doubling as both protection and a reliable stand when in use. It feels sturdy yet lightweight, so I can slip it right into my backpack without worry. The USB-C connectivity was seamless being able to connect to my laptop with just one cable, which also powers the monitor. This reduces cable clutter and makes setup quick and easy. It’s a fantastic tool for anyone needing extra screen real estate while traveling or working remotely. Highly recommended!

Does not work well with Mac. Corners are cut off
The 3K resolution is really hard to make work well with Mac, maybe Windows won't care. But Mac will want to pick 1440x900 which makes everything huge. 1920x1200 looks fuzzy, but even if you can put up with that, the corners are cut off!? The corners are not square but round, who knows why. While connected to a docking station with power, it blinks every so often, it's a quick blink, but it's there. I've had good luck with HDR mode and enabling HDR on mac with other portable monitors, but this one looks pretty yellowish if you do that. I wanted to love it because the contrast is good and I like a glossy screen, but it's not worth $280 with all these caveats. I have a 13.4 portable one from Inne

Beautiful screen - using it for gaming on my laptop
I bought it to use as a second screen for my laptop, and it's working fine. Good screen quality and easy to carry! I connected it to my laptop for gaming purposes, but it can also be used for watching videos. Another good thing is that it has built-in speakers that you can use while gaming or watching and you can also turn-off/on the eye shield feature if you want. I did not see any kind of issues while using it but will continue to monitor it as time goes by. Lots of cables were included too. Overall, I am happy with it that I can use it for my computers or even on cellphones or tablets (depends on model).

Great Portable OLED Experience, with a few nuances
Great screen quality, with the added benefit of portability. You can't go wrong with OLED, however a few issues do exist with this product: The OSD settings reset when not plugged in, which is the most annoying bit, and then there is your usual OLED burn-in stress, and this does not come with any OLED care features built into it.
