I bought this maternity belt because my mom and sister-in-law said maternity belts helped them with back pain while they were pregnant. I don't have a lot of back pain, yet, but I have had a lot of round ligament pain and some sciatic nerve pain. When I wear the belt, I don't feel either one of those lovely pregnancy pains. It is sturdy on my lower back, and I can physically feel a difference when I take it off. I live in a hot climate, so as summer approaches, I am a little worried about being hot with the extra layer around my lower back and belly, but from what I can tell so far, it seems breathable. I will update as the weather gets hotter if I have a huge issue with it.I also want to note the sellers are so nice. They tried the product out themselves, and perfected it.
