The best IMO
After trying various grounds and gessoes for my oil paintings, this particular ground gets the job done the best. I have tried alkyd/oil grounds from other manufacturers but I have settled on the pure linseed oil ground titanium white from wikliamsburg. The consistency is good right out of the can if you stir it first. The oil and pigment may be separated in the can which is normal which is why you would have to stir it first. I dont use solvents in my painting space so to thin it i use some walnut oil which is my main medium anyway. It is a bit slower drying than the alkyd grounds but i dont mind that because i do a bunch of panels at once anyway and the alkyd grounds are really stiff out of the can and can have those dried up little pieces which is annoying when you are trying to get a smooth even surface. Not so with this brand. You can sand between coats as well depending if you prefer a smooth or textured surface to paint on.

Was damaged
It was damaged. The delivery box was in perfect shape only the product was damaged. It was bangged on the side of can and opened, semi dried. I would ask for a refund but I live in Nigeria and it would take like 2 months and time for the process just decided to get it else where.

PITIFUL customer service if any!
Their products are, at least from my perspective, a very high quality. I sent TWO messages to cancel my order as I decided to make my own gesso....I wrote the first message the same day of the order and about a week later to cancel......No response....It was delivered today.
