13' regatta bell tent
This 13' regatta bell tent was everything I was looking for in an all season tent for my wife and I to hit the woods any time. I received the tent after a minor shopping issue with the carrier but amazon quickly resolved the problem. The packing of the product was great and the carry bag is very nice. I was excited so I set up the tent in my yard and without looking at any directions, had the tent up in 20 minutes by myself. Very easy for me! Bonus! The canvas and stitching are top quality and the floor is great material and rugged. The stove jack was easy to cut and covers well when not in use. The tent stakes are heavy duty and anchor the tent down well. The tent poles are heavy duty and overall the floor space is fantastic. The water proofing is what it says it is. We love this tent and would recommend it 10x over. Thanks for a great product Whiteduck!

Great camping tent for solo use or two cozy campers
I recently purchased a 13 ft Avalon to set up on my camping property. I realized once I have this larger tent set up I'm probably not going to want to take it down. So for a couple events this summer and while I prepared a tent pad for the Avalon I decided to pick up this smaller 8 ft regatta.Once you know what you're doing it sets up pretty quickly. Definitely faster than the 20 minutes they claim. I can do it in about 10 minutes easily. Just stake the perimeter, insert the poles and finish by staking out the guidelines.Construction seems very durable. I don't see any issues with the floor but I do put a tarp underneath it mainly just to protect it from punctures. Depending on how tightly you steak in front of the door it can be difficult to zip the bottom parts of the door completely closed. I really don't see it being an issue because there is enough overlap to prevent water from getting inside. As far as livable space is concerned I put a twin air bed inside mine. You can just fit one in between the sides or back of the tent and the pole. Leaving you with the other half of the tent to store your gear or whatever you want. While this tent would work for two people I think it would be very cozy. The center pole just limits the space inside but I think the extra headroom and ease of setup from this design is worth it.I feel that for the price this is a great tent to have if you are car camping and want something that is going to last you a long time as long as you take care of it. This is my first canvas tent. I've owned innumerable nylon tents over my lifetime and nylon invariably degrades from sunlight. Cotton canvas needs its own special care to keep away mildew and such. But I think for long-term durability and abrasion resistance it's a much better choice than nylon tents. Also nylon tents getting incredibly hot in the sun canvas is going to do a better job of keeping the tent cooler.

Excellent tent!!!
Love it!I've tested this tent for almost a month in my back yard and it's been great! We had 40 degree to 80 degree weather with some days of high wind, rain, and some sunny and calm. My thoughts so far; it does well in the rain (no leaks), it can handle the wind, and if you open the ventilation in a hot day it's ok, but it is definitely hotter inside than outside. The tent is meant for cold weather though, and it did well in 40 degrees. I used a space heater and it was able to keep the tent at 65 degrees all night without any issues. I also purchased and used a tent stove, which is a bit harder to regulate so it made the tent too hot, but it worked great too!Easy to setup and take down. Did it all by myself and it takes 2-3 hours to put it up and depending on how you setup the inside 1-5 hours to bring it down (I had a tent stove, cot, table, etc. and it took 5).I'm heading to Fairbanks Alaska soon so I'll let you all know how it fairs in some of the coldest temps on the planet! ;)That said, I think it will do pretty well!

Better for colder places
I wish the windows were higher up to allow more airflow. Itโs a beautiful tent and holds heat well. Great for colder places. Quality and durability is perfect. I also wish the A-frame doorway was an option for this style instead of the pole in the doorway

Not worth the money
I wanted to love this thing. We lived in it for awhile so I can give a true review. Does really good in the wind and we had some really strong winds. I hated the windows, you can't see anything, they are so low to the ground. It was difficult to put up. I had to hold the pole and my husband did the stakes and support lines. It doesn't protect much more from the cold than a regular tent. The zippers look more sturdy than normal tents, but they were not more durable in the end. I think someone needs to figure out a better way to do a tent door closure. Zippers just do not stand up very well to repeated use like that.
