I decided to take on the challenge of preparing my grandson’s first birthday smash cake. It wasn’t my first attempt at cake decorating, but it was my first important one! I mostly ordered the set for the turntable, the rest was merely lagniappe. Considering I already had a set of tips (plastic) & such, I didn’t think I needed any of the other provided accessories. But it was a great price and had the cake cutter & turn table that I needed, so I went ahead and bought the set. Thankfully so!!! Not only were the tips provided much better quality, there was a book included that showed what each tip would create. They’re also labeled with numbers , unlike my plastic ones, which was a guessing game when choosing which to use. Given the myriad of tips to choose from, you’re bound to up your decorating game with this kit. The spatulas were an accessory that I didn’t realize I needed until I used them. There are 2 different types, both of which are helpful in the decorating process. The cake cutter was very useful & helped level layers with ease. I was pleased with this tool as well. Above and beyond all the tools I’ve listed there are also a good amount of pastry bags provided. There are a few items that I haven’t even had a chance to check out yet & a helpful cleaning brush. I’m sure I’m forgetting to mention something, but surely given all I have discussed you’ve decided to purchase the set. The price is fair, if not good considering all that comes in the kit. So whether you’re an experienced cake decorator or just getting started, this kit will bring your skills to the next level! Makes even the most amateur decorator feel like a pro! This is a great investment & if you’re like me, you’ll be baking cakes “just because”. My original cake was a huge success & I’ve made another one because it was a Tuesday that was just as pretty! 😊 The only thing missing in this kit, which I mention because I had to create my own is a cake board. Not to say that it should be included, but for a newbie reading this (like I was) I wish I would’ve been reminded that it was needed. Otherwise, everything you need to create a beautifully decorated cake is provided in this fairly priced cake decorating set.

I absolutely LOVE this kit! It is an amazing price and comes with sooo much! It is so worth it. It also has training videos and helps you along with everything if you are just starting. Very good quality too!

For a first time baker I loved this set and came with everything pictured. It’s been fairly easy to use, I have made two cakes so far and my only problem has been the plastic piping bags. They’re too small but other than that they get the job done. Trust me you’ll want to keep using this set, it has so many pieces to use and reuse, you’ll want to try them all and find your favorites.

Okay, let me start by saying: I can bake a cake like a pro. Seriously, I’ve got that down. But decorating? Oh, I’m a disaster. When I saw this cake decorating kit, I thought, “This is it! This is the key to unlocking my inner cake-decorating genius.” Spoiler alert: I was *so* wrong. I lied to myself hard that day. I pulled my cakes from the oven, let them cool down (you know, like a responsible baker), and placed them carefully on my cake tray. Now, this cake tray is *smooth* like, butter-smooth. It spins effortlessly, giving you full control for rotating your cake without breaking a sweat. So far, so good. But then I went to the next step. I grabbed one of the plastic piping bags and inserted a metal decorating tip (as the kit suggests). I was feeling pretty confident.. until I started icing the cake. Immediately, I realized something was seriously wrong. The icing wasn’t coming out smoothly through the metal tip; it was going everywhere. Instead of graceful, beautiful swirls, I got a mess of frosting dripping out the back of the bag. This wasn’t a cake, this was an icing crime scene. In that moment, I learned a very important lesson: maybe I should’ve watched a YouTube tutorial or read the instructions first. It turns out, the metal decorating tip goes INSIDE the piping bag, not on the outside (who knew, right?). If I’d done that, my icing probably wouldn’t have been trying to escape the bag like it was in some sort of frosting jailbreak. But hey, the cake tasted amazing, which I suppose is the most important thing, especially since this cake was for my mother-in-law’s birthday. I’m pretty sure she won’t let me forget that monstrosity of a cake for at least the next decade. The good news? The kit was really great regardless of how hard I failed. The layer cutting tool was foolproof. It helped me slice those cake layers evenly and easily—no mess, no fuss. Even I couldn’t mess that part up! The smoothing tools, while not miracle workers, at least helped the cake look like a slightly-melted but still edible cake, rather than something out of a horror movie. Bottom line: I’m definitely going to keep using this kit. I might not be ready for cake-decorating stardom just yet, but I’ll get there.. eventually. So if you’re new to cake decorating like me, take it from me: don’t start with a birthday cake for your mother-in-law. You’ll thank me later.

Everything was very much needed and worked great, helped me create a beautiful wedding cake.

This is an okay cake decorating kit. You get what you pay for. While it does come with a variety of pieces, the items themself are not durable. This is a great starter kit or something to have for making your loved one’s cakes every year. The pieces are easy to clean so that’s a plus.

Soy principiante en la repostería y la vida es que los productos son de buena calidad de acuerdo al precio, me gustaría que la base giratoria estuviera más maciza.... pero la verdad es que es bastante funcional 🫶🏻

This kit includes everything you need to begin decorating cakes including a sturdy cake stand, cake leveler, spatula, and 24 clearly numbered piping tips. I especially appreciated the included video tutorial and instruction booklet which make the learning process simple and beginner friendly.
