Top quality RC parts from Spektrum.
My husbands hobby is RC Planes ...and he has always preferred Spektrum products for their quality. You will find less expensive and he has but the price point was not worth the savings. This item was as is described and works extremely well for his needs. Well worth the price to him.

Best receivers in the business
Spektrum receivers are expensive but the best in the biz. Their eco system is easy to use and beginner friendly with just a couple utube videos. Highly recommend a Spectrum transmitter too. I got the nx7e+ for my first real transmitter and LOVE it and don't really see a need for anything more just yet. Maybe in a couple years...

The safe and gyro is a must for beginners you
You get what you pay for excellence.I have two with safe an gyro. Made a world of a difference I calibrated for safe/gyro WOW what a difference for those of us are learning.Once feel comfortable you can turn off part the safe or all of it. I'm

super good receiver if you are looking to add a built in gyro to your plane. make sure your transmitter has forward programming capabilities or else you won't be able to set up AS3X or SAFE.

Harder to setup than I expected.
Not sure if I have three modes. The set up doesn’t work as I expected. I will try it again but the instructions aren’t straightforward or maybe it’s more than I want to do. More to come.
