Candy CH473DW4/1-80 7KG Freestanding Washing Machine with 1400 rpm - White - B Rated

This is the first time I have had a Candy and I am very impressed. Load capacity is superb 8Kg. Even on the rapid programs the results are excellent. It feels sturdy and well made. It washes my clothes noticeably cleaner that my old machine. The spin gets the items almost dry, put them on the line for half hour and they are done or some items you could even iron straight away and again they are done. It even weighs the load to make it more efficient. Easy to use. Even the smart touch app which I thought to be just a bit of a gimmick, is going to prove to be very useful to have on board. Fits under the kitchen counter perfectly. Just completed 8 full loads in the last 2 days with no problems at all.

The Product-I have a very small kitchen space in a 2 bed town house. This item was perfect and reasonable price. I chose black for colour of the machine. I went for this particular machine for the15 minute quick wash which is what I was looking for. Although I haven't put a full load on, the test wash was great and after playing with the settings, I can also do a 15 min wash at 20, 30 and 40 degrees which is super cool for my needs. There are a few more settings around 50 mins mark and others with cotton and eco around 2 hours. I loved my old Beko which finally packed up after 15 years and I thought that was a quiet machine, but, this is actually quieter and smoother than im used to! The installation - I just went for it and paid for Amazon services to remove and recycle old machine, clear packaging and install new machine. This was one the best things Ive paid for. The 2 men who came this morning were fantastic, helpful, professional and swift. (And patient whilst I bleached the floor when the machine was removed as who cleans under a machine whilst it's been there for so long?!) A Stirling job indeed and would recommend especially if like me, you don't have anyone around to install new machine and remove the old machine. Thank you.

I ordered this washer for my elderly father. It’s easy to use, very quiet when it’s running and washes clothes well. I’d arranged for deinstallation, disposal in installation of the new machine as my father would not be able to do this. Usually He is a grumpy old man and often does not have a good word to say about people who deliver items to his house but he was full of praise for the two chaps who delivered his new washer. He told me there was an older chap and a young lad and the older chap was showing the young lad how to install the machine. My dad said both chaps were very kind, respectful and friendly, in fact he was going to give them a tip but they’d gone before he had chance to call them back. Considering my dad is like padlock pockets these chaps had obviously made an excellent impression on my father and I would like to thank them for cheering an old man up!

i had to have the first repair done on the machine 3 days after it arrived - the motor was shot. since then i’ve also had to have the suspension fixed. it costs me money every month for product support, but the product is garbage. it won’t spin, it won’t weigh a load and it certainly won’t wash a single microfibre blanket without you spending half an hour trying to squeeze it out by hand so the machine can cope and spin it! i am SO disappointed. and of course it goes into totally meltdown a month after the warranty runs out. avoid avoid avoid. waste of money. if i could send mine back for a refund i absolutely would but its too late for that. so i’ll spend the next 5 years washing a single sock at a time and then pay for a new machine anyway. i will NEVER purchase a Candy anything again. i am on a very fixed income, this was an expensive item and i cant afford to replace it so i’m stuck.

Bought as a replacement for my old washing machine that broke. Great machine, although the filter on the bottom is screwed into place. Nightmare for when there’s an error or needs cleaned.

This Candy is a very good washing machine. It works well. Other reviews say the machine is noisy but that is not my experience. It is quiet. The clothes are spun at high speed and come out much dryer than my old Beko machine. This is good because the clothes then take less time to dry on the line or in the tumble dryer. Its good value too. You need to buy this machine.

Smaller machine but same capacity as my old Candy, which lasted 30 years, probably never use the WiFi but it's a feature, short programme works well
