I'm 5'9", 165 Lbs and 70 years old. I wanted a tight fitting vest so I ordered the small black of this vest and I'm glad I did. My chest size is 38" with my waist of 32" and this vest fits tight but perfectly. While the fit is snug and it feels and looks great. The 100% silk fabric type as stated in the listing description does not agree with the garment tag on vest which indicates 80% silk 20% polyester, which feels about right according to my touch. While this pattern doesn't show well in the main photo I included a closeup photo of the paisley pattern which appears on the front half of the vest. So for all of you younger whippersnappers, order the smallest size you believe you can squeeze into if you want to look your best, and as you can see from some of the other review photos, wearing a vest that's too big makes you look like a dweeb.

Size chart is about 1 size too small. Had to return first one but no problem doing that. Looks like nice quality.

Sizes run small, the sizing chart said I should have been a L so I ordered a large and an extra large. Both were too small. Had to return both and order a XXL. When the new one arrived, it was missing the tie clasp. Now I did not order this for the tie clasp, however as it was listed in the description, I had expected to receive it. Otherwise, I am happy with the vest, as that was the reason for my purchase.
