Good quality, sturdy. Has great feel to it.

Useful as intended, to write notes.
Strong flexible cover, with clean pages. The cover and pages seems well put together. No bleeds with ballpoint pens. Recommended.

Pens bleed right through
At first the book seems high quality, with a sturdy cover, pocket in the back, ribbon and even a ruler! Then you go to use it and the paper thickness is terrible. Not only do pens show through (see first image), but you can see writing two pages behind (see second image). Might be ok for a bit of doodling but useless for any real use!

Seal of approval
Positives: - affordable - high capacity - cream colored paper - very sturdy - quality elastic band and bookmark ribbon Negatives: - heavy weight (671g for the A4, 340g for the A5), not the best for carrying around. - QC is somewhat inconsistent, my Idena A5 had faint, straight creases all the way across many of the pages. This was clearly a factory defect with the paper, the outside cover and about half of the pages were fine. Of course this is only a sample size of two and one of them was fine, but I have to mention it. Overall you can't really do better for the price, though the weight would prevent me from carrying it around in my backpack. I'd rather get a second lightweight notebook for that. This Idena is better left on the desk at home as a cheap, high capacity notebook for math or art practice.
