CQR Men's Quick Dry Tactical Pants, Water Resistant Outdoor Pants, Lightweight Stretch Cargo Work Hiking Pants

Very well made light weight thin breathable summer pants. Perfect for what I need them for. Their not heavy work pants, their not jungle trekking pants. Not rip stop fabric. Their not advertised to be. They are very light, cooling pants for being outside in hot weather. If you're grilling out on the weekend, or walking through the park, or a supervisor position overseeing workers in hot weather, these are right for you. If you do light work that won't rip and tear cloths, and work in the heat, these are right for you. If you need tough durable pants get the ones with rip stop fabric, and reinforced area's. Ad says water resistant, not water proof. They do dry very fast as their supposed to. Rain water beads up and rolls off. A bucket of water will soak them. If you want water PROOF pants, I suggest goretex pants. The quality is tip top being made in Vietnam, you can always count on quality. No chinese made junk here. My Iphone fts in pocket with room to spare. Wallet fits in back pocket too. Update. I bought 2 pair of 5.11 tactical. For summer hot weather I like the CQR better. Their cooler, lighter, flexible. The 5.11 crotch is too low, resulting in legs that run a bit long. Legs are too baggy, and not as breathable. Seems like these would be a problem in combat situation due to how baggy they are,. Good thing I just need them for work. 5.11's will be my winter pants. CQR summer pants. That is my comparison of both.

These are some of the best pants out there. I bought these for a summer time uniform pant. They do great for keeping you cool in the hot summer heat. The water wicking aspect is pretty good. The added air vents around the knees are great for air movement. And these are awesome for flexibility. Will buy more! These are very comfortable. A nice lite weight pant.

The only thing I can find to not like about these pants is that the small pocket on the front right leg (cell phone pocket) isn't tacked down and flip inside out when pulling my phone out. Other than that these are great pants.

Very good quality, I am working in the desert with these and they are my favorite pants for the extreme heat.

Well made pants. Fit is a little loose than my usual sizing but comfortable and light weight for work. I like the stretch to the pants, and pockets are adequate.

Nice comfortable lightweight hiking pants that were easy to pack. Purchased for a trip to Peru and worked out great. Fit was true to size recommendation so no issues there. Overall seemed like a good value and would consider purchasing again. The belts that are included are quite thin without much substance so the only note would when I swapped out to a technical belt I purchased the belt loops were a touch small so depending on the belt you use it may take a little extra effort to get it threaded through the belt loops. Overall a good purchase and happy with the product.

The pants are great bc they are very light and have a lot of breathing pockets. They are also horrible. I’ve bought 6 pairs so I’ve spent a lot of money on them. On every single pair the threads are coming out of the back pockets. I’ve lost a few items because of this. I also hang dry them too so I could only imagine how bad they’d be if I dried them. Just know it’s not 1 pair that’s done it it’s all 6. My wife has had to sew them for me. I’ve had these pants for about a month and a half. If they didn’t have this problem this is all I would purchase. Won’t be buying anymore

This review will be two-fold. Since CQR has all its styles under one page, I will review the CQR Runyon (2.5 out of 5 stars) and the CQR Rocky (4.5 out of 5). CQR Rocky Pants: These pants are LEGENDARY!!! Normally, I purchase 5.11 Taclite Pro Ripstop pants. But since they are a little more expensive and I had some extra $$$ in my Amazon account, I decided to try two new companies. From the moment I pulled these pants out of the bag, I knew I was going to LOVE them. I quickly removed the tags and tried them on. Now, I loved everything about these pants. They fit a little more snug through the thighs (I have thicker thighs), but they were not uncomfortable, and they weren't too tight. I love the vent holes (one on the inside by each knee and two up on the inside of the leg towards the crotch. The pocket layout is so intelligent. While both legs have the larger cargo pockets on the mid-thigh, they are both cut and designed differently. The left cargo pocket has a sewn flap, so you can quickly slide contents (glasses, keys, etc.) inside without fear of your contents falling out. But where they leveled up their game on the pockets is the right thigh pocket. Although it is not as big nor as deep as the left cargo pocket, it has a ZIPPER!!! This way if you have something you absolutely don't want to lose, you can rest assured the zipper is going to keep it in place. Since these pants are very thin (and breathable), the only thing I worry about is the durability. Since they are so thin, I worry about snagging them on something. Now, let me be clear: these pants are not sold as tactical ripstop pants. They are sold to or marketed for people who are going to be outdoors and want breathable hiking pants. I do need to see what other options they have in ripstop. I will definitely be researching to find out the different colors and styles they offer (Runyon has tons of colors, and unfortunately, the Rocky pants have a variety of colors, but they are mostly odd colors). The only criticism I have about these pants is the page on Amazon. They display three styles (Runyon, Rocky, & Rocky Z), but they don't have any detailed information about the differences between the three. I highly recommend these for wearing outdoors. Now, granted, you probably are not going to wear these during the colder months (unless you have tights on underneath), but the fit is absolutely legendary!!! Unfortunately for both of us (the manufacturer and the buyer), the khaki ones are not 20% off (probably because they are a popular selection). CQR Runyon pants: These pants are the stepchild to the Rocky pants. These are much thinner and already show signs of a lack of durability. The stitching is already coming apart on the cargo pants, and I've only owned these for about a month or so. My major con for these pants is that they are wrinkle magnets. You can put them right in the dryer after washing them, and pull them right out of the dryer, and they still look like I slept in them. The ironic thing about the
