Great unit if you size it to your needs correctly!
I bought the River 3 Plus to take on a festival camping trip. My goal was to keep our personal devices charged up and to power a small 12 volt cooler throughout the night when solar power wasnโt available. I would say it met the goals, but I might go up to a larger capacity or add the extra battery unit if doing it again. The River 3 Plus itself performed flawlessly and ran silently, even in near 100 degree weather, and actually probably 115 inside the car. The display shows everything you need to know as far as input and output wattage and estimated run time. Itโs a good size to easily carry around, compared to the Delta series that weigh much, much more. The Bluetooth pairing was painless and the app worked flawlessly. I also appreciated the built in light when messing with the buttons at night. For my use case on this trip, the biggest issue is the battery capacity and the DC input limit. I was trying to charge a couple Dewalt power tool batteries to run a tent fan, charge several phones, a camera, some tent lights, and keep our 12 volt fridge running through the night. I only had a 100 watt solar panel and that proved to be not enough to replenish this fast enough, (not the fault of the River 3 Plus). I should have bought a 200w+ panel. I then had to rely on my carโs 12v cigarette lighter adapter for times when the sun was not out, which is also limited to about 100w. So I could never get more than 100w input at any time. When I managed to get it topped up enough, it definitely kept the fridge going 24/7, which was the most important task. If I could suggest any improvements, it would be to add a second solar/DC input, because then I could have used both my carโs interior cigarette lighter ports, or solar plus car simultaneously, to deliver 200 watts, which would have definitely sustained my needs a lot better. Overall, Iโm very happy to have this unit and expect to get a lot more mileage from it. Ecoflow really seem to know what theyโre doing with the design of these portable power stations.

My new UPS
My Cyberpower quit on me, and not just that, it _silently_ quit on me: despite having NUT telemetry on the server it was keeping alive, it just cheerfully reports 100% power while behaving exactly like a stock power strip. Instead of getting another pair of acid cells as a sort of surprise-gift for myself in three years when they die again, I started looking for something using 21st century technology. This is what I found. The River 3 Plus claims to be prepared to keep my network and server alive for nine hours, and after running it for two hours that seems pretty much accurate. Bear in mind that's a 25 watt load: your mileage may vary. Plus I can take it with me as portable power. Bluetooth app, HomeAssistant integration, it's a nice bit of hardware. Power changes over fast enough to keep computers and routers alive. No regrets.

Compact but powerful
Great so far. I like the way it can charge from a car 12V , makes very handy. And able to use multiple low draw appliances, such as a portable water boiler.

Buy this if you have one of those 12 Volt Electric Campsite / Car Coolers or 12v Portable Fridges.
I prefer to use this to power those 12 electric coolers or fridges, instead of plugging it directly to the car's 12V outlet. This has enough capacity to run one of those thermo-electric coolers for about 2 to 3 hours or a compressor type for much longer. For longer trips you can charge this from your car's 12 volt outlet. Then, when you stop for a break this will keep your cooler running so you don't have to unplug your cooler while stopped. Just unplug the River 3 Plus from the car's 12v outlet unless it's one that shuts off when the car engine is turned off. It's light weight and is ideal for this purpose. If you want to use this for power fail situations I recommend you step up to one of the Deltas.

Packed with features
This little portable power bank is packed with features. It has an impressive 600watt inverter with 3 AC outlets, plus a 12v DC output, and 100watt USB-C PD port. It charges fast from the AC input and accepts up to 220 watts of solar input. It has 10ms UPS switching, and a very well done, intuitive app. It includes a 286wh battery, but can be expanded by adding an external battery pack. Itโs well suited for powering and recharging your portable electronics on the go, as well as providing emergency backup power at home. It can easily power a refrigerator for several hours. The only real issues I have with this product are the price games that EcoFlow likes to play. This has been on sale since it released and the price seems to fluctuate constantly ($299, $209, $199, $179, etc...). Also the โX-Boostโ marketing feels misleading. There are not many device that require over 600watts that this could power effectively, and if/when it is able to, it will drain the battery in minutes.

Has failed twice. Impossible to obtain warranty service on nearly new item!
The most rugged power pack I have seen yet, and you can hook another battery on to it for more power. Well worth the price. OOOS! NOT SO GOOD AFTER ALL! I have on at least two occasions had problems with it not charging. A little red Icon that looks like a delta sign followed by 4 10 comes on. Obviously something is overheating. I did add the 600 watt extra battery to it . If I let it cool down it will charge up to 3% more each time but then I have to cool it down again. I just put my desktop fan up to one end, and now it charges normally with that fan pushed up against it. I have just ordered a two pack of 5" USB fans from Amazon, and they are due up arrive tomorrow, and I should be able to afix one of them to the air input side, which should solve the problem, but it would be a huge annoyance to ship it back for replacement or repair. I am a competent repairman myself, but they probably don't want to send me the fan, and, of course, the problem could be with the fan controller! Other than this one problem I have been extremely pleased with the unit especially since I added the extra 600 wh battery pack! But obtaining service is impossible! Their Artificial Imbecile told me that before it could turn me over to a human, I would have to fill out a form. The price for just filling out the form was $5 but then they would automagically charge me about $70 per month to answer questions. I had the impression that they hired an outside firm to handle their complaints. I could not obtain warranty service. I will have to use one of many fans I have lying around to see if I can repair this myself!

Great features, and working well so far.
I'm using this as a UPS for our modem and router, a Mac Mini, and a Raspberry Pi with Home Assistant. It's working very well. I'm using the HACS ha-ef-ble Bluetooth integration in HA to monitor the UPS. It shows a lot of detail and all basic functions of the UPS can be run from HA. A 12 volt power cable wasn't included in the box. I contacted the seller, they replied right away and said they'd send me one. It arrived today. So far, it's working great. I like it's fast and variable charging and other features.
