Pricey but worthwhile for us
I have had dogs with anal gland issues before so Iโm familiar and I know how to express them at home. That being said itโs not a ton of fun and would usually involve a bath or at least a rinse. My new rescue dog is very skittish, not into being touched or restrained yet. But I could smell him and he was scooting. So I went looking for a less hands-on solution. Within a couple days of starting this I noticed firm stools and one was more firm than I think necessary so I reduced the dosage. He is 56lbs and we have dialed in at 1 scoop in the morning and 1 at night being just right. Your results may vary based on your dog & their diet. He eats this just fine. He doesnโt eat the last bits out of his bowl like he eats every last kibble or treat. So itโs not quite as delicious as those. But he has no aversion to it. I havenโt noticed any side effects or issues. Iโm not sure if this is better or worse than other anal gland products cause itโs the first one I tried. I have tried giving canned pumpkin to other dogs in the past - I never found it especially helpful. It just increased the time between expressions. After a few months I was thinking maybe my new dog didnโt need this product since we had no issues for a whileโฆ I went out of town for a week and the care takers werenโt quite as consistent with adding this to his food. I came back and he was scooting a little. But once he was back on the full dosage, no more scooting. For us, the results are subtle but real. Iโll keep buying cause it keeps him healthy and minimizes uncomfortable procedures for him.

Tears of Stinky Joy
I don't usually leave a lot of reviews, but holy crap (pun intended)! Our boy, a Chihuahua mix, has been having tummy trouble for awhile. And with soft poop comes full anal glands. They'd express them at the vet and then a week later he'd be scooting again and having soft flat poops. We had been giving him glandx and probiotics, which helped a little, but second poop of the day was still pretty mushy. Admittedly, I saw influencers posting about native and did some reddit digging. Reviews were solid enough (another pun, forgive me). I figured wth, can't hurt to try. Because our pup has a sensitive tum, I used like an 8th of the scoop the first time, barely a tsp. That might be had a soft poop followed by a firmer poop.. usually it's the other way around. Next morning I gave him (keep in mind, he's 9 lbs) a quarter of the scoop. BAM! Very solid, firm stools! I'm loathe to give him a full scoop, as directed, as he's already popping out firm logs. But this worked fast and has helped me stop making enemies of my neighbors by leaving bits of poop and tearing out their grass. I can't believe it! It doesn't hurt that he likes eating it and it's nice and small for his little mouth. Thrilled dog mom over here.

Great! Works!
My Jack Russell Terrier has constantly been scootching her bum on caprpets. I don't know how many times I have taker her to the Vet to get her glands expressed, but that never helped. I started using this product about a month ago (and she loves it) and I have seen her scoothch her bottom just once (not sure if she does it when I am gone). Thumbs up on this product.

It works!
I received this about a week ago and started adding it to her food immediately. It has made a huge difference! Despite feeding her high quality food, my miniature schnauzer puppy was having a terrible time with soft stools that resulted in gland issues that were making her crazy. Her stools are perfect now already within a week. Iโm really hoping this will help her glands long term as much as it appears it will! Also she has not even seemed to notice any difference in the taste of her food. Sheโs just as excited for meal time as ever!

Expensive but it works
It works to help my frenchie's anal gland not become clogged. She loves the taste. Its a bit expensive for the amount you get, specially if its a bigger dog and you require multiple scoops, but it does work.

Does exactly what itโs supposed to
This stuff worked quickly, resolving my dogs issues, eliminated the glad issues, cleared it up in a matter of 2 days. Iโve added this to my list of must haves in the house.

Doesnt do much
Dont think they had much of an effect on either dog.

Less Booty Scooty
Both my dogs enjoy this with their food and it has helped make for less frequent vet visits for my female pittie mix to have her anal glands expressed. What used to be an every 2-3 month visit is now every 6 months!
