I don't have very long hair but I needed to make a long braid for a function where I was wearing a traditional saree. I'm glad I found this. Firstly,it is not jet black - a sort of very dark brown ( bordering on black ) and it suits the natural hair colour of most Indian women. Secondly,the length or hair density or the weight is not too much . So,my braid looked natural- tapering down. Allowed me to wear flowers & fancy clips without my head feeling very heavy.
