Q: Someone mentioned a Competition kb is primarily for a snach but cast iron better for regular kb routine?

Comp bells can be used for all KB training. I perfer the Comp bell in most cases so I can transtion down to the ground to do Renegade rows or pushups. The bottoms are more stable.

Q: I read in a review that the handle has gone from a steel finish to a pitted finish, which will I get if I order here?

Well i only have one matched pair so far, not a large sample size. I can say of the two i have, one handle had a slight texture on the inner grip. Probably due to final finishing oversight. Smoothed right out with some fine grit sandpaper. Now both are buttery smooth steel finish and ready for high rep work.

Yes the competition level does. It does look as if the competition fitness edition is 35 for some reason, even though on Amazon it says 33. The KK website says 33 for the competition and 35 for competition fitness edition.
