There weren’t any clear installation instructions. The Amazon website was the best source for information. Easy to install and tighten the spring. The door closes but doesn’t shut, which is what we wanted.

Not very reliable and hard duty it will work for sometime and then it suddenly stops because the springs will weaken and it won’t close the doors anymore

Perfect for the job. I have a metal building with a metal door. There is a magnetic catch when the door gets close to the frame. For 31 years, I have not pulled that door enough or pulled it too hard, and depending on the wind, it may or may not hit the magnet. THIS little door helper is PERFECT. Slow and steady, and it pulls the door close enough to the magnet for it to catch. Yes, I pre-drilled the frame holes and mounted with my screws, not the wood screws provided. Yes, I enlarged the door closer holes so my screws fit. You're telling me for 31 YEARS I have dealt with this nonsense.!??! Yes, exactly. Perfect for my purpose. LISTEN: If it is not strong enough for your purpose. just use 2 or more of them. OH: The little piece of metal and sticky pad is used to stick under the area where the wheels track. Instructions are perfect Chinglish and are perfectly useless. Easy to adjust. Highly recommended from this Florida Man. -- North Central Florida -- 6.13.2026
