Maison Alhambra Mysterious Amber – Amber, Smoky, Woody, Sweet – Eau de Parfum Spray Long-Lasting Fragrance for Unisex, 2.7 Ounce / 80 ml

I bought Mysterious Amber because the name reminded me of Jovan Secret Amber, and I have been trying to find something that could replace my old favorite, Halston Man Amber. I expected a simple warm amber in the same general family. What I got was something completely different and honestly better than I expected.The first spray hit me with a wave of incense that took me straight to the shops in Salem. It has that warm, resinous, slightly dusty air you get when you walk into a Wiccan/pagan store filled with candles, oils, and burning resins. Not church incense, and not head shop incense, but that exact Salem shop vibe.As it settles, the smoke softens and the amber and vanilla start to glow through. It is darker and more resinous than Halston Man Amber, not as sweet as Jovan Secret Amber, and it feels much more niche than the price suggests.One thing to keep in mind. This fragrance is strong. I overdid it the first time and it actually made my eyes water. A little goes a long way, so use it sparingly.If you like amber, incense, or that mystical resin warmth, this is absolutely worth trying. I went in looking for a replacement and ended up finding something completely different that I am glad I did not miss.

I don’t have a very in-depth review of this one likeI have my others as I’ve only been able to wear this once. I have a collection of over 500 fragrances and live in a blazing hot area so I will wear this more in the winter time.This fragrance smells great and has a very middle eastern profile. This should be obvious since it’s a middle eastern scent but with brands like Maison Alhambra you never know based on the bottles and names. It is a very smoky scent and smells very masculine, it is always nice to have that sort of scent in your collectionLongevity worked well for me, my skin demolishes fragrances but I could still smell this a few hours in. With French or Italian perfumery I get an hour or 2 tops so I don’t get to experience the whole scent to its fullest. With that being said I believe it is great value for the money, I enjoy when a scent has good longevity on me although this isn’t necessarily *beast mode* like some prefer.Overall this is a good fragrance and something nice to add onto your tab if you’re going for the Amazon 6 months and are buying a small item, I believe it’s worth it with the presentation and overall scent.

This was horrible. Smelled just like alcohol and bad soap! Unable to return due to Policy. Delivery time was as expected.

Sweet, woody fragrance. Masculine or feminine. Goes with any occasion and the wood note is very natural.

Smells great now but it was not what I expected. Many reviewers claimed this was a close inspired scent to the discontinued TF Amber Absolute and as someone who has been searching high and low for an affordable alternative I was sure I had finally found one as I love many Maison Alhambra fragrances.This one seems to be more of a hybrid between Amber fragrances form TF. Slightly resinous but much heavier on the incense.Similar scent profile but not a 1:1 dupe more like scent cousins. Smells amazing on my husband nonetheless but my hunt continues.

Amber absolute TF not, very woody and smokey. I'll give it a month to age and develop. A beautiful fragrance if you like earthy and dark scents.

This stuff smells way better than some of my expensive stuff. I’m am extremely impressed with the quality and the price !!!!!! You will not be disappointed
