I have a induction stove, will it work, which means can the inner pot stick to a magnet? thanks!

It works for me! I tried the magnet on the pans and it doesn't stick, BUT when I tried the pans on my induction cooktop they both heated up just fine. They are very thin metal though, so I'm not going to saute in them anymore. For boiling liquid they seem fine on induction.

Are inner pots as thick as Revereware pots/pans from 70's/80's, or SS mixing bowls? if so then they ARE thick enough to use on high stovetop burner.

I pulled out my pot and examined the inner SS bucket and found that the inner pot has a thin base. Personally, I would not put it on a "High" burner as it would probability warp. It is made to survive 300 degrees not the 550 of a high burner, In my opinion. Hope this helps...
