Exactly as pictured. Difficult to find in my size. Will put them to the test for quality review! For now I would definitely purchase again!

I got these to use in my tai chi class. They can be a bit slippery at first on linoleum, but after a few uses they are fine. I gave them a wash and dry to shrink them ever so slightly and that improved the fit. Wearing them makes me feel more martial and puts me in the mind-space to do my forms. The quality is high and the color fast. If you want cotton stitched soles, these are a good choice.

One shoe was bigger than the other.

These shoes are really comfortable and appear to be well-made. Unfortunately, the sizing is a bit of an issue. I usually wear men's US size 10.5-11, and the largest size they have is size 11. They are snug from heel to midfoot with no slippage, but just a bit too tight at the toes. I really wish they had maybe another size or half size larger. The bottom of the shoes are just a bit bigger than the insides of the shoes, which I think lends to their stability on the ground. As others have mentioned, these shoes are not slip-proof; definitely do not attempt to wear these on polished hardwood or tile flooring. However, if you are walking around on the type of rubber or concrete floors that a lot of gyms have, the grip is comfortable to move in without seeming too grippy. The soles of the shoes have a nice design, too. The mouth of the shoe is comfortably wide, but the elastic cloth upper helps secure your foot pretty well. These people know how to make shoes, though, again, I wish they had more size options. I'm returning mine due to sizing issues, but if you are looking for, say, indoor shoes to work on martial arts mats or gyms with rough, grippy flooring, then these shoes may work well for you and the value ($17 at the time of this writing) is decent. (Side note: I don't know if you can wash these shoes, but they'll pick up dirt really quickly as they are just cloth and elastic materials.)

These shoes cannot be trusted to match sizing chart. I ordered a 46 because that is my size, even a tad smaller than my athletic shoes. The toe box was huge, too long by almost an inch and too wide by a half inch and I have a wide foot. I THEN ORDERED THE NEXT SIZE SMALLER AND they were so tight and tiny I couldn’t even get my foot fully in the shoes without a painful toe smash. Absolutely ridiculous and Amazon gave me problems with an immediate refund for an item not advertised correctly!!! I don’t even know if I have ever left a bad product review on Amazon. I do know that I just wasted $40 and a few weeks of my time!!!

These are not the same as they used to be, that is they have a short life span. My previous shoes of the same design: cotton soles, wore well and lasted well over a year through twice weekly workouts of Tai Chi and Kung Fu sessions, as well as daily house shoes. These shoes never left the house, basically used as house slippers, and were worn through in less than 6 months. They were very comfortable and fit well, but I will not buy another pair like this due to the short life span.
