This works great! Needed my wifi to extend to from main house to a backyard cottage and this does the trick! Very strong connection, even through a cinderblock building and range is magnificent! Each to install and works great with my existing home wifi. Took a little while to figure out how to set a password on the unit. But after a quick check with their website, everything was ready to go.

I hooked this up to my Starlink system. It was plug and play, works 100%. I live on a ranch where this device allows me to connect at over 400 feet. It is great. You will need an ethernet cable to mount it outside and if you are using a Starlink system you will need the extra ethernet plug device about $25.00. Couldn't be more happy.

EDITED TO ADD: very nice response from the seller (Juyi Store) about a warranty query. They replaced the unit at no charge. So I'm upgrading the reveiw from 2 to 4 stars. "Ideal" would be not having it need replacement that soon, as the setup and outdoor placement is a fair amount of work, but I do appreciate a quick and thorough response from the seller. I consider 2 stars generous. It worked fine... right up to the window close of the return/replace. Then it crapped out and is a rather expensive piece of junk. No transmission whatsoever. Has been checked by a professional. Utterly dead. If you want to count on this, apparently plan on buying 2 per year.

Pretty impressive product! Handles my connections over a large area. Very impressed.

The shipping and packaging were excellent. The product on the other hand did not work as described in the videos i have watched. Could not update the firmware even if it was in router mode. The AX3000 seemed to be well built but there is not a switch to select the mode. The device must be reset wait for the device SSID to appear select the device SSID, login, select the mode then choose location, time zone, change SSID if needed to the users Existing SSID depending on how the device is to be used. In AP mode and Repeater mode my internet speed barely increased by 1 or 2 Mbps and the range of my wifi signal only increased by a few feet. Could not use any of the mesh modes because the AX3000 does not work well with my Asus router. It is not complicated to set up but you must pay attention to the directions, I actually found better information on setup than what is in the quick start booklet by searching the internet.

I gave it 5 stars, bc it works good. It's lighter and the unit itself is smaller than the 4 antenna model, but in my situation, I have 6 IEGeek cameras around my property, and they each need a very strong signal in order to work well. I found that the broadcast signal from this is equal to or maybe slightly less than the heavier 4 antenna model. I'll leave a tip here to easy pairing..... 1)connect the ac adapter, with power switch off. 2)Then connect a short cat5 or 6 data cable from your primary home router to the ''data'' side of the power adapter. 3)Then connect the AX3000 to the POE side of the power adapter with a second cat5 or 6 data cable. 4)Go to a laptop or phone and type 192.168.30.1 and after a brief period, the WAVELINK setup page will come on. 5)I'm going by memory here, but the password needed to change the user ID and password should be ADMIN . 6)After powering down, then powering back on, your new USERNAME and PASSWORD should be applied. Write it down! If all else fails, you can do a soft reset and then the factory username and password will come back so you can start over to try again. Be assured, if you purchased this item, either the 4 antenna or the 6 antenna model, it was a great buy. My 4 antenna ax3000 reaches a wifi cam which is over 750' away in line of sight to this router! Amazing. By rotating, raising up or down, or tilting you can find the ''sweet spot'' for the strongest signal to the dead spots. I mounted mine to an old satellite dish mount, which allows for tilt and rotation up on my roof. Any high spot at least as high as the receiver will do. Try to find a good spot with ''line of sight'' to your cameras or whatever needs the broadcast signal. Keep in mind that being close to trees or metal objects can weaken the signal on either end.

Installed with shielded cat 6 direct from Spectrum router at 20' above ground level. For 3-4 days, it provided exceptional signal strength to 2200' away. After that, it barely managed 100'. Communication with seller is difficult due to time zone difference and they authorized a replacement. Installed new one and it was great for a few days, then same thing. These units are dying (nearly) within a week. It still works, but usable range is not much over a100'. Would not recommend! *** Update-Company has contacted me and offered full refund or replacement with improved model. I have chosen replacement and will report results after install. Changing review to 3 stars overall, but company deserves 5 stars for their response!

Was very easy to set up! I had to call customer service because I could get my iPhone to take the password. I called and Christopher was so helpful. You have to reset the extender itself and then create an 8 letter/number passcode. Worked perfect! I hate calling customer service..but when I called Christopher answered and I could understand him.

I have been a user of Wavlink products for a while and they have generally done good by me without breaking the bank. This outdoor range extender/repeater is no exception. Starting at the unboxing experience this product represents quality - the AP is well packaged and comes with everything you need to get started. This device is PoE powered, however if that is not something you currently have setup, no problem as the kit includes a PoE injector/adapter as well as the required power supply cable and ethernet cable (youll only need to connect to the PoE injector from your main router). It being PoE powered means that this router can run off a single cable which is extremely nice, especially considering this is primarily an outdoor product. Speaking of the outdoors - this product is IP67 rated, which means you can rest assured that it will be okay even in thep resence of rain and dust and will function as expected even in unideal weather. The router comes with 6 antennas, 3 each for 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands and advertises a whopping range of 300m (though I have not verified this claim). This device can also be used (as the title of the product alludes to) in various different modes - AP/Router, repeater, AP/Repeater or mesh. In my personal experience this product has been great. I set it up in my garden as I do not have good coverage there and it has served that purpose really well - the speeds are basically as fast as they are inside my house but now I have full coverage in my garden and do not need to worry about the device shorting out due to rain. Overall, I think this is a great product with many usecases, both for individuals but also for larger businesses and venues. Wavlink did not disappoint!

I have set the device up and paired it to my nbn device and after a few minutes the connection drops out. I have tried a number of times to register the item with them and it drops out at a certain point For what I need it for this item does not suit my needs and does not work. This item will work with Ethernet connection extremely well but registering the item to wavelink a query.
