LiveKuna Orange Sweet Potato Flour, Gluten-Free Baking Flour, 32 oz

I bought this product several items. It works very well for my gluten free waffles. I use Njnja Waffle Maker and use this sweet potato flour mixed with cream of rice and little bit coconut milk. It comes out great always. Love it! And highly recommend it.

The flour has a good flavor and feels just like normal flour, when using in dough recipes. Rises just like normal flour when making my yeast breads. Bakes nicely too. Happy to have a good flour substitute when it's needed.

We enjoy sweet potatoes of all kinds, in stews, roasted, baked, mashed, etc. They're a favorite of our family and we have them as often as possible, often buying by the ten pound bag. I hadn't heard of sweet potato flour until I came across this product. When I saw it I had to order and give it a try. We tried making the sweet potato flatbread recipe that is included in the web product information. We found that the quarter cup of water suggested isn't nearly enough. We ended up with closer to a half cup, and still, the dough never really formed a sticky enough ball to flatten into a disc that didn't easily break apart. Still, with a good ghee, which allowed us to cook in the skillet, they cooked nicely and tasted great as part of our meal with vegetable stew, which included sweet potatoes. We look forward to finding and trying other recipes. With our plant based eating style, we're always looking new products to try and this is a fun one.

Delivery date 1/27/26. Expire date 050526. Kind of expected at least a one year out expiration date. I’ll be making muffins this weekend … I am sure they will be good!

Terrific pancakes and waffles. Breads are a bit dense but still good. Banana bread was yummy. Does not bother my friend who has celiac disease and is allergic to so many things. The waffles are so good I would buy it just for that. I have one of those little waffle makers and I make waffles instead of toast. An egg on top. Great breakfast. Make the batter up day before, keep in the fridge.

Used this to make some sweet potato brioche. Dont have the recipe, sorry. It isn’t a straight sub for regular flour so do your research before attempting. Also the bread I made was not gluten free, just a disclaimer if you try to make it gluten free and it doesn’t come out like my picture. Oh and I also used actual sweet potatoes as well to make the color deeper.
