Good as a coffee table, good as a 4 spot small dining table, bad for storage
I removed half a star for difficulty in putting it together and a half a star for storage. I'm going to start off with putting this thing together. It all went relatively smooth until it came time to put on the top piece (the folding table top). I managed to put 99% of this thing together on my own with very little difficulty. When it came to the top however... ugh. I had a friend help me because I figured it shouldn't take more than two people. That was an incorrect assumption. It took three people. Two to hold the top piece level so the brackets could be attached. That right there cost it half a star. What a giant pain that was. When it was all together though it looked great. The dimensions were good for the room and for the couch, a good choice. Then it came time to store stuff it it. When I was building it, I noticed the drawers weren't very deep but I assumed (again) the storage under the table top would be sufficient. It's not. You lose about a third of the storage area to the small lift out table. due to the lifting mechanism and the tray itself you lose the center 1/3rd to it. The remaing left and right side are also not very deep and thanks to the center being obstructed by the tray and it's mechanism, there's not a lot you're storing in there. The gap from the bottom of the top storage, and the top of the bottom is also narrow. I mean if you have magazines (do people still have those?) you could slide a few under there. You may be able to put a couple books there if you wanted... The drawers at the bottom could hold some remotes if you have a bunch. If you're looking for a storage solution for the living room, this isn't it. If you're looking for something that can convert to a table for 4, then yes, this will do the trick. Thankfully, that is the main reason I grabbed this. I have a small apartment with no dining area so this fixes that problem.

Pretty nice coffee table and clever design
This is a really nice, cleverly designed coffee table. The fold out table is quite handy for small apartments or houses. It was fairly easy to put together by myself. It took about 2 and a half hours. The only thing that really gave me pause was the thin board that goes on the inside area where the storage is located and the in the bottoms of the drawers. The board is not very thick or sturdy and won't hold anything super heavy. I wish they would make those pieces twice as thick. Also, the boards are not square but slightly rectangular so it does make a difference which way you slide them into the slots. Measure before putting them in or they will fit loose if put in the wrong way. This is not mentioned in the instructions. One trick for those who will be assembling this by themselves when you go to attach the large table. Start with putting the desk part on first, then attach the hinges that go on the large table to the bottom part of the coffee table base first rather than attaching them to the table itself as the instructions say. That way you can set the large table on top with the desk supporting it then go underneath and connect the hinges to the table. If you assemble it the way it says in the instructions, you will need someone to hold the table for you while you screw the hinges into the coffee table base. This reversed method made it super simple to install the top table. All in all, I think it's a great table and will hold up ok if treated gently. It's not a long term solution but for someone starting out or that has a small space, it's almost perfect. It's compact and has a neutral design that fits into most decors.

Great table
I love this table. It is solid and looks really good. Lots of storage. The pieces were well organized and labeled and we found the instructions easy to follow. Though there were times that a different order of assembly made more sense. Warning that the top of this table was very hard to install. Without finding something we could prop the table top on while attaching it to the hinges we would have needed a 3rd person.

The best purchase!
I was skeptical about buying furniture from Amazon but this table is the best table I could have ever dreamed of for this price. Pros: I have a small apartment, this table is amazing for storage. The drawers provide hidden storage as well as under the table top. The table space this has provided is unreal, all while folding back up into an apartment sized coffee table. We don’t have a dining room so this table doubles as our dinner table. Great height to eat at, as well as attend online meetings etc/being on camera, great height. Easy to assemble, parts are not super heavy and instructions are fairly easy to follow and understand. Cons: storage drawers are somewhat shallow and storing stuff inside the table can be tough to navigate as the hydraulics need some clearance for the table to fold back into itself. This is easy to readjust and stuff, but worth noting. We ordered in black, which does show quite a few finger prints. We are still searching for a cleaning product that doesn’t leave streaks or wipe marks (Lysol wipes is all we have used so far). If you’re thinking about it, just buy this table! We love all the features and reccomend to anyone thinking of saving space while also having a bigger and better sturdy table

Drawers cannot be reversed, Single person assembly not too hard, Took ~2.5 hours
Assembly was straight-forward, although rather lengthy. All pieces were there (even a few extras of the bits, which is nice). Contrary to what other reviewers have said, the drawers cannot be configured to face either direction (I didn't subtract a star for this, but I don't understand the choice to have them face the way they do). They will always face away from the direction the top comes up. The forward and rear interfaces between the two sides and the bottom section with the drawers is not symmetric. Hence, you cannot just turn the bottom around at will. Since the sides have the supporting interface to the table supports built in, the drawers always open away from the direction of the table lift. I assembled it alone. It was not that hard. There is a trick though. First, do not put on the two pieces that limit the range of the table motion when lifted (step 23). You put them on after the table is attached. Once you assemble the supports to the bottom of the table piece, place the table piece leaning against a wall with the struts extended (hinge side up - in the attached picture, I had hinge side down and had to flip it). Then rotate the lower assembly 90° so the drawers face upward (you probably won't have the drawers in there yet, but they would be facing up if they were). Now slide the lower assembly (hopefully, you're on carpet) toward the table assembly so the struts brackets are close to where they connect inside the table. Now, get one screw in on each side (the easiest one for me was the forward lower screw). It's still a little challenging, but you're not holding anything up in the air, you're just holding the top of the table (the side with the hinges in this case) and tilting it with one hand to get the screw with the other. Once I had one screw on each side, I put the table upright (see attached photo). Now I put a second in each side (again by tilting the table as needed). With 2 screws on each side, the remaining 4 are much easier since the 2 screws align the bracket. After all 6 screws per side are in, tighten all the screws. Finally, install the range of motion limiters (if you put them in earlier as in the directions, you would never have been able to align the brackets using the method described). One final note, it's pretty heavy once you get it all assembled and does not slide easily. I recommend putting some 4" sliders under each leg if you want to be able to move it around. You'll thank me later.
