CJRB Acacia Pocket Knife, 3.21'' Black PVD AR-RPM9 Steel Blade, FRN Handle

I always have my Milwaukee Fastback on me at, and switch between two different Milwaukee folders at work. I've been carrying the 7.75 folder as an edc as well, and was looking to upgrade it recently. Jumped down the youtube rabbit hole and came out with this. The combo of style, locking mechanism, and looks appealed to me. To me the Acacia has a real sleek look to it. The FRN scales are comfortable and well finished.I like the textured pattern on the scales. It reminds me of a Japanese design made out of Mando T Visors. I have the brown version/black blade version. It's light weight, sharp, has good build quality for the price. I've broken down a bunch of boxes downand was impressed with the sharpness and ease of use. The default crossbar lock setting does seem stiff to me, but I'm fine with it since it is adjustable. You can deploy it with the crossbar lock, thumb flick, or reverse flick. I'm still fairly new to all these different ways to open a knife, so I think I would prefer thumbstuds, but then it would throw off the looks. So far the black blade coating has held up well, and I enjoy the crossbar lock. Ive given it a few pretty good whacks against a table with the tip of the spine, and its stayed locked. I also appreciated how easy it was to adjust the pivot, since one side is captive. Def worth the sale price. If it ever drops lower or of I lost it I'd replace it. I look forward to checking out more CJRB blades as I slide further into this hobby/addiction

Great price, lightweight, but only hiccup is the length of blade runs entire length of handle. This makes one handed opening/closing a bit dangerous. Not great for fidget but solid as a tool

It's a lightweight pocket knife with a decent axis-lock style slider. Sharp out of the box, easy to carry and deploy. The slider is stiff, unlike say a Benchmade however this is not of the same price range. Excellent beater or EDC. I'd highly recommend for EDC.

An excellent example of how CJRB is dominating the affordable knife market. The action of this knife is on par with a Benchmade and the blade came very sharp.

Really liked the CJRB Acacia at first. The knife itself is excellent quality for the price. Fit and finish are solid, action is smooth, and it came razor sharp right out of the box. No complaints on the cutting performance. My issue is with the pocket clip. It worked fine initially but eventually got loose. I figured no big deal and bought a tool to tighten it. Now it won't stay tight more than a couple days and the screw just falls out. Somehow I've not lost it yet, but I don't trust it enough to keep carrying it daily. If they fixed the clip hardware this would be an easy 5-star knife. As it is, the blade deserves better.

This is my most carried knife. I'm a left handed user and up until recently I've mostly carried a Benchmade Bugout for its ambidextrous friendly design. Knives with the crossbar type locks and plastic scales are my top choice. I like lightweight designs that are not noticeable in the pocket. This CJRB Acacia is nearly perfect for what I want/look for in a pocket knife. The ergonomics of this knife are really great thanks to the contoured scales. I know some people may prefer a higher quality steel, but I have not complaints about AR-RPM9. It's sharp out of the box and really easy to sharpen when needed. This knife is so great if you beat it up so bad or lose it, it's not expensive to replace it. My only wishlist item for this knife is for the inset steel liners to have milled out holes for a slight weight reduction. I modded mine to have bare (non-coated) screws and crossbar as well as changing the pocket clip.

I happened to add this to my order when I was getting the pyrite lite, because of the crossbar lockup. I'm so glad I did! This thing is smooth and very fun to play with. Blade is super sharp, lockup is great, size is great, the action is so butter smooth it's scary, everything about this knife is great. I like the pyrite lite, but I've been playing with this more. It was $40 with a 25% off coupon. If you're thinking about buying this knife do it. I promise you will not be disappointed at all. Plus the sound it makes is amazing, ting, ting, every time it locks up. Very addictive and just a great little edc knife for the price. I watched some reviews and people are saying best budget edc of 2024 and I see why now. I'm so glad I happened to add this. Just buy one already, watch some videos and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
