Pickleball practice in your garage? Oh yeah!
I've been using this machine in my garage for drill practice for a few weeks and have launched hundreds of balls, it's working great! I've tried other machines, but they just shoot too far to be useful in the garage. This one is able to shoot balls as short as 12 to 13 feet at the lowest setting and lobs are about 5 feet high at that speed and at 4 second intervals. I'm pairing this machine with the Furlihong ball retrieval net so it works great for continuous drilling and never having to reload. Another benefit is the super quiet and variable speed motor. Other machines I've tried are pretty loud as they pop the ball out. This one slings the balls out with friction wheels rather than the louder launch paddle that some use. And the speed of the launch is infinitely adjustable for any distance up to the max rated distance around 50 feet (though I've never tried this setting). Using the net is a great way to practice drop shots and in improving hand-eye coordination. The machine does not have a remote, so I used a 120V remote switch so I can activate it wirelessly instead of pressing the power button. This isn't really necessary since the machine waits about 10 seconds before launching, but I've found the remote switch to be a nice add-on that makes it even easier to use. I'm looking forward to trying this machine on the courts for an active practice session which I feel confident it will do well. It supports a tripod and should simulate a fairly fast paced drive when raised to around 4 feet and aimed straight rather than shooting from the ground where it would be more of a lob to get over the net. It also has an auto changing height mechanism and swivel base for more random shots. Since receiving this machine, I've had a few questions about it and found the Furlihong support people to be very responsive and professional. If anything should go wrong, I am sure they'd be quick to honor their warranty and offer whatever support is needed. At this price, it feels hard to go wrong as it's so much cheaper than the other ball launchers and so this will fit in nicely for the beginner to intermediate player to drill with. Friends have come over to try it and they are amazed that I can practice in my garage; perfect for all weather use. So I can actually improve my skills in between game days and get a good workout too. So far, loving this machine!

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE
I bought the 3806PBH machine. First time using it - pleasantly surprised. Second time - some balls came out of machine very weak (no speed or distance). Third time - it stopped working, balls stayed in machine. If they would make a QUALITY product, I would definitely buy again. But not till they fix the problems. Updated: I WOULD NOT buy their machine. The hassle is NOT WORTH IT!

Very happy with this ball machine
I love this! For the price it is impossible to beat, if you ask me. Super easy to set up. Takes a bit of use to get accustomed to the speed, angle and arc of the balls but that would be with any machine. Great value for the money as the options are many compared to other machines. I do wish it had a remote control to delay the start but it's not a deal breaker for me. I've only used it with the cord, not with the batteries so I can't say if the power is lessened with the batteries being used but this machine can hit deep balls all the way to the baseline.

Really only for beginners
Thus is a nice machine for the price, but ball speed to too slow for intermediate players in my judgement. But the machine works ok. Takes a bit of use to get the settings you like and worked well thru the first 160 balls and then started barely shooting the balls out off and on and occasionally pushed two out. But for practice when your alone it is ok.

Good value
Works good. Needs some kind of remote start /stop. Once you load balls, it starts shooting so you need to run and get in position. Generally, not bad at that price point. Light weight so don't hit it with your shots Plan on buying some type of recovery net else you'll spend a lot of time shagging balls everywhere

Not very good on battery.
This pickleball machine is really only good when running on AC. Battery doesn’t cut it. Put a little stronger, rechargeable battery in it and the machine would be ok. Even on AC it doesn’t throw the balls very far but it is acceptable. The reason I am returning it is my courts do not have AC.

Great product, make sure to clean the projection wheels!
I reached out to customer service. Whitney responded quickly and efficiently. When I learned more about cleaning the wheels that project the ball out, it works really good. I am very satisfied with this product!!

Great automatic pickleball trainer to improve your skill and footwork
Do you want to play pickleball but cannot find anyone to join you on the court? This is a solution, though it may not be as fancy and full featured like some other automated machines that cost 10X the price but it get the job done for training when need an assistant. You will need to provide batteries or a power source to use away from a power outlet. I used portable battery pack that worked well. The Pickleball trainer uses a feeder that holds 29 balls and feeds them into the machine to be shot out like a canon. It provides an oscillation controls for the ball to pivot from left to right and to pivot up and down. There is a variable power button that allows you to adjust the power/velocity of the ball which I found useful when having a headwind that slowed the flight of the ball down or when going with the wind you can lower the power so the ball doesn’t fly out of the court. The random pivoting enables you to move around as you anticipate the next shot location so you don’t just get a single point workout. You can configure it to only shot in a single direction using the vertical on off or horizontal on/off buttons. This is very well designed. I really like that it pauses before starting up so you have time to run over to the other side and get set before the first ball comes over. I had mine set for low speed so I had time to reset my stance, but I could have used the high speed button to increase the frequency of the delivery. This is a great little device for the avid Pickleball player or someone who wants to improve their skills. I did not try the battery option since I don’t keep D batteries around and didn’t want to purchase them. It comes with a carrying bag, but you need to separate the device into 3 pieces to fit it in the bag(Base oscillator, Pickleball launcher with a loop track, and remaining track). The bag has pockets to hold balls and other small items. Don't snooze on this deice. Two thumbs up.

Quality Issue
I purchased the 3806PHB with the NT01 net together a couple weeks ago. It worked well for exactly 2 weeks and now the balls get stuck inside the shooting tunnel all the time. I notice the (2) shooting wheels are fine but the windmill-pusher is not pushing the ball downward hard enough to reach the (2) shooting wheels.
