Amazing!!
This paint is absolutely brilliant!! Literally minimal preparation needed and covers like a dream! I painted a black bed cream and I used 3 coats to get a perfect finish. Very quick to dry too. Would absolutely buy this again!!

Absolute Sorcery in a Tin . Rustic Perfection!
🛍️ Why Did I Buy This? Feeling a little bit of DIY ambition and aiming for that rustic woodwork look, I decided to give this a go. ⭐ The Good This stuff is brilliant . An absolute must-have. Full disclaimer: I actually tried another brand’s base coat first. It sort of worked, but the wax I used (also frenchic) over the top rubbed off within a week. With this one? Solid as a rock. It’s stayed put beautifully and somehow leaves this gorgeous undertone that makes the wood look even woodier (if that’s a word). Honestly, it’s like witchcraft in a tin. Absolute great value for money . Brilliant coverage + dries quickly . 👎 The Bad Honestly? Nothing bad to say. Save yourself the headache (and the sore wrist from sanding your poor furniture back to life again) and just buy this. ⚖️ The Grey Area No grey here . Just glowing approval. For the love of your wrists and your time, buy it. 💭 The Verdict Would I purchase again? A resounding yes! Although to be fair, it goes on so well I haven’t needed to yet. Would I recommend to a friend? 100% yes! They genuinely didn’t believe me when I said it was painted wood until I proved it. I slapped some on a random bit of MDF, had a coffee while it dried, added the wax and voilà. Absolute sorcery.

A classy and cost-effective way to improve sills and stairs
I had seen a number of adverts for this paint for the last year or so and finally decided to give it a go on a white MDF windowsill that collects my dog's hairs like it's a full time job! I used Frenchic Creme de la Creme followed by their Browning Wax. Both were very reasonable in terms of price. I purchased two wax brushes from a separate supplier and already had paint brushes on hand. I wiped everything down then applied the paint. The paint flowed really nicely across the wood with a matt finish, very easy to apply, and dried within about half an hour between coats. There was no nasty smell as with normal paint which was great. I then applied the browning wax with the wax brushes and thought I would struggle to get the finish right but it came out perfectly and was surprisingly easy. The windowsill now looks like it's a quality piece of oak rather than the ugly and stained sill that it was before. I have also used it on our banister and it really adds a tough of class where things might have previously looked budget.

Great product!
I transformed my black kitchen beams with this chalk paint and Frenchic browning wax. Nobody can believe they are painted! They look like natural wood now. Very good!
