It is the perfect size and shape for my kitchen.One of the main reasons I chose it was because it fits standard 13-gallon tall kitchen trash bags, and it does so perfectly. My previous 10-gallon trash can had a flared top that made fitting bags frustrating—sometimes they would stay on, and other times they wouldn't. This one has a nicely sized opening that securely accommodates standard kitchen bags without any issues.The can itself is also very sturdy and has that classic Rubbermaid quality. The plastic feels strong while still having just enough flexibility to make it durable for everyday use. It is easy to pick up and move around if needed.
