Review: Great kettle - When I saw the box the kettle comes in I thought it was going to be too small, but this kettle is fab, the red cup indicators inside are an ok addition but not something I’ll use. Boil speed for 2-3 cups is fast. Looks great. It’s lightweight, the handle is comfortable and easily gripped, the on switch is large and easy to engage, the light indicator when boiling is bright - overall this kettle exceeds my expectations for the price paid.

Very impressed with how light it is, and how quickly it boils (and internal cup measure is very useful and saves wasting energy and water) and the noise while heating is reasonably quiet and not an issue at all. Unlike some reviews I saw I have had no issues with water leaks or spillage from the spout - it performs brilliantly. The only issue now would be longevity, but having had Russell Hobbs products before I don't expect a problem. Can thoroughly recommend.

When I saw the box the kettle comes in I thought it was going to be too small, but this kettle is fab, the red cup indicators inside are an ok addition but not something I’ll use. Boil speed for 2-3 cups is fast. Looks great. It’s lightweight, the handle is comfortable and easily gripped, the on switch is large and easy to engage, the light indicator when boiling is bright - overall this kettle exceeds my expectations for the price paid.

I was taken with the different honeycomb design, but was worried from some of the photos on Amazon that it would look a bit gaudy but I needn't have worried - it looks great and very stylish. Very impressed with how light it is, and how quickly it boils (and internal cup measure is very useful and saves wasting energy and water) and the noise while heating is reasonably quiet and not an issue at all. Unlike some reviews I saw I have had no issues with water leaks or spillage from the spout - it performs brilliantly. The only issue now would be longevity, but having had Russell Hobbs products before I don't expect a problem. Can thoroughly recommend.

Nice looking kettle with the waffle design, I did three boils as instructed before using , however it took a few days before the metal taste disappeared, now it's ok. Very fast boil as well .. Returning to update my review after two weeks because the metal taste with this kettle is back and will not go away, the only way you can eradicate it is by filling the kettle up to full so the water does not pick up the metal taste its horrible and unacceptable , I have passed the return window now so I am stuck with it but will more than likely chuck it and buy another make. So if you want a kettle with a metal taste go ahead and buy one
